Pond filter unit and a method for operating a pond filter unit (1). A control unit (12) controls the operation of the pond filter unit (1), including the cleaning cycle of the filter (2′, 2″, 2′″). The pond filter unit (1) further comprises one or more plugs (14) for connecting one or more auxiliary devices, such as a separate pump, one or more additional pond filter units, illumination devices/lamps, air pumps, and/or feed automats. The control unit (12) of the pond filter further controls the one or more auxiliary devices connected to the plugs (14), such as pumps, air pumps, automatic feeding devices based on input settings for each of the one or more auxiliary devices. The control unit (12) further controls the cleaning cycle for cleaning of the filter (2) in the vessel (3). The cleaning cycle comprises a sequence of backwash and/or a mechanical filter cleaning sequence where a filter cleaning motor unit (6) rotates the filter cleaning device (7) in the vessel. During backwash, the valve (8) directs the water to the waste water outlet (11). The filter unit allows to control the one or more auxiliary devices by the pond filter control unit (12), and to coordinate the control of the additional devices in relation to the control of the filter.

Sustainable Aquaponic System and Method for Growing Useful Plants and for Treating Gray Water
20170231174 · 2017-08-17 ·

A system and method of sustainable aquaponics that vertically integrates unique aquaponic system designs with alternative aquaculture fish feed sources, fingerling production methods, alternative aquaculture/farmed fish grow out models, and green energy sources that yield organic produce in the form of fruits and vegetables. A raceway system serves as the hub for grow-out throughout the warm and cold months. During the summer months, fish can be spawned and fed for steady growth, while during the winter months, the fish continue to grow at slower quite acceptable growth rates. Plants like legal (licensed) cannabis for medical use can be grown in plant areas near the raceways with very high yields. The system may also be used to reclaim gray water using the biology of the system to purify it for agricultural use.

SYSTEM, APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GROWING MARIJUANA

Systems, apparatuses and methods for growing marijuana plants, particularly for regulated purposes, for example medical purposes or in some jurisdictions recreational purposes, have automated subsystems with sensors to provide feedback information about system, apparatus and plant growth parameters to one or more controllers so that the one or more controllers can alter one or more parameters to provide optimal conditions for the growing and harvesting of the marijuana plants. In particular aspects, the systems, apparatuses and methods provide for control of odors produced during the growing of marijuana, root management of the marijuana plants and control over important levels of chemicals provided to the plants, for example enzymes and flavor additives.

AEROPONIC GROWING SYSTEM

An aeroponic growing system having an overall non-rectilinear arboreal structure and appearance, and made of a reservoir base containing a reservoir for holding plant nutrient solution, at least one hose having a plurality of solution spray openings located thereon, one end of each of the at least one hose connected to one of a pump connected to the reservoir for holding plant nutrient solution, a plurality of growing baskets having both internal and external portions, a support structure comprising a plurality of growing basket openings, and sufficient internal space for housing the hoses, the internal portion of the growing baskets, and to permit the solution spray openings to provide plant nutrient solution to the internal portion of the growing baskets is described.

Planting device, multilayer stereo-planting system and planting system of plant factory

A planting device, a multilayer stereo-planting system using the planting device, and a planting system of a plant factory using the multilayer stereo-planting system are provided. The planting device includes the planting tray and the planting board which can be moved as a whole. The nutrient solution inlet and the nutrient solution outlet are located on the same side of the planting tray. The multilayer stereo-planting system includes the support rack and the nutrient solution supply system installed on the support rack. The planting device can be detachably installed on the support rack as a whole. The planting tray and the planting board of the planting device can be taken out and placed in together, protects the plant seedlings from injuries, and avoids the leakage phenomenon of the nutrient solution.

Fish tank effluent sampling system

Provided are fish tank effluent sampling systems, e.g., for use in recirculating aquaponics systems, methods of using same for sampling effluent, and kits for assembling such an effluent sampling system.

SYSTEMS FOR GENERATING WATER FOR A CONTAINER FARM AND RELATED METHODS THEREFOR

Systems and methods of generating water for growing or vitally supporting plants, fungi, and/or aquatic animals are provided herein. The systems include a water generating unit that utilizes process fluid produced by plant transpiration or fungus respiration to generate water. Nutrients may be added to the water through hydroponic and aquaponic systems, then provided back to the plants in a closed loop. The systems may be monitored, optimized, and controlled remotely.

SYSTEM FOR CULTIVATING PLANTS AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
