Adhesive compositions with repair-rework ability
An adhesive composition is provided that includes a block copolymer present at greater than or equal to 30 total weight percent of the adhesive system comprising a high glass transition temperature in subunits Y and Y, each of the subunits Y and Y having a high glass transition temperature of from 70? C. to 130? C. with a low glass transition temperature subunit Z having a low glass transition temperature of from ?100? C. to 10? C. intermediate between said high glass transition temperature acrylate subunits to define a structure Y-Z-Y. The triblock copolymer is dissolved in a monomer curable under free radical. A free radical initiator of a peroxide or a hydroperoxide are present in combination with a sulfonyl chloride, dihydropyridine and copper or vanadium salt. By heating the cured adhesive at or above 70? C., the adhesive is amenable to being removed, repaired, or reworked.
Flexible Elastomer And Fiberglass Layered Building Element
A layered building element for protecting exterior or interior building surfaces is disclosed. Exterior or interior surfaces may include both vertical and horizontal surfaces, such as walls, roofs, or floors. The layered building element includes a flexible sheet comprising at least one elastomer layer in communication with an elastomer-impregnated fiberglass layer. Each elastomer layer may be bound in communication to the fiberglass layer at an interface comprising elastomer-impregnated fiberglass. The flexible sheet may form, for example, shingles, tiles, or a cylindrical roll, which may support portability and installation of the layered building element.
SHEET STRUCTURE FOR PROTECTING THE SCREEN OF AN ELECTRONIC DEVICE WITH A CURVED SURFACE AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
The present disclosure relates to a sheet structure for protecting the screen of an electronic device with a curved surface. The sheet structure includes a back plate, an adhesive layer, and a heat-bent clear glass sheet in the order from the side contacting the screen of the electronic device towards the other side of the sheet structure. The back plate is made by measuring and copying the curvature of the curved surface of the electronic device. The adhesive layer is made of an organic compound and used for sticking the back plate and the heat-bent clear glass sheet together and at the same time filling the concave surface of the heat-beat clear glass sheet. The heat-bent clear glass sheet complements the curved surface of the electronic device through the adhesive layer so as to protect the curved surface of the electronic device when adhering thereto.
AIRCRAFT COMPOSITE PANEL ASSEMBLY AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
An aircraft composite panel assembly includes a first panel having upper and lower faces, the lower face having a recess on a first side of the panel, a second panel having upper and lower faces, the lower face having an outward projection at a first side of the panel, the outward projection received on the recess forming a lower continuous face; and a forward stack of plies of composite material bonded to the upper face of the first panel, the forward stack of plies having an edge overlapping the first side of the first panel, and the number of plies of the forward stack of plies decreasing toward the opposite side of the first side of the first panel.
INSULATING GLASS ASSEMBLY
The disclosure provides an insulating glass assembly including a piece of insulating glass and a gas compensator. The gas compensator is communicated with the insulating glass. The gas compensator includes a variable body and a vent pipe hermetically connected with the variable body. The vent pipe is in communication with atmosphere.
MARKER, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING MARKER, AND DETECTION TARGET
A high-precision marker, which is easy to manufacture, has a base material layer, a first layer which is laminated onto one surface of the base material layer, and which is observed in a first color, and a second layer which is partially laminated onto the first layer, is observed in a second color different from the first color, and partially conceals the first layer, wherein the first layer is observable in a region in which the second layer is not laminated, and the second layer is formed by a resist material.
