The invention provides hydrophobic silica wet gel, hydrophobic silica aerogel, and methods that can be used to form an enhanced hydrophobic silica aerogel sheet having an advantageous combination of properties. Some embodiments of the invention provide a hydrophobic silica aerogel having advantageous properties, such as desirable performance on visible transmission, haze, or both.
POLYMER AEROGEL FOR WINDOW GLAZINGS
An energy efficient window includes a plate of glass having a first side and a second side opposite the first side. A polymer aerogel thermal barrier having a first side and a second side is further provided. One of the first side and the second side of the polymer aerogel thermal barrier is located on one of the first side and the second side of the plate glass.
COVER MEMBER, DOUBLE-SIDED ADHESIVE SHEET, SEAL MEMBER, AND SHEET FOR SUPPLYING MEMBER
A cover member suitable for suppressing damage to a semiconductor device package includes: a cover sheet having a shape configured to cover an object in a state of being placed on a placement face; and an adhesive layer joined to the cover sheet and configured to fix the cover member to the placement face. The adhesive layer includes a double-sided adhesive sheet. The double-sided adhesive sheet has a structure in which a first adhesive agent layer, a substrate, and a second adhesive agent layer are laminated in this order. The substrate has a porous structure. The substrate has a porosity of 30% or more. When the porosity of the substrate is 30% or more and 50% or less, the substrate has an average pore diameter of 10 m or more, and when the porosity of the substrate is more than 50%, the average pore diameter is 0.05 m or more.
INSULATING GLAZING UNIT, SPACER, HOLDER, AND GLAZING ASSEMBLY TECHNOLOGY
In some embodiments, the invention provides a multiple-pane insulating glazing unit having a between-pane space. An aerogel sheet is located in the between-pane space. Other embodiments provide methods of manufacturing such an IG unit. Further, some embodiments of the invention provide a glazing assembly that includes such an IG unit. Certain embodiments of the invention provide a spacer having a seating structure for supporting an aerogel sheet, while other embodiments provide an aerogel sheet holder for supporting an aerogel sheet. Preliminary glazing assemblies are also provided.
ELECTROSTATICALLY PINNED GLASS ROLL, METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR MAKING
A roll (10) of glass ribbon (20) and an interleaf material (40) disposed in alternating layers, wherein a layer of the interleaf material is pinned to an adjacent layer of the glass ribbon by an electrostatic force that is of a value so that a shear force required to cause slip between the interleaf material and the glass ribbon is greater than or equal to 10 times that required to cause slip between them when not electrostatically pinned together. Methods for winding and unwinding the roll, as well as an apparatus for winding the glass ribbon and interleaf material into a roll, are also disclosed.
Fahrzeugdachglaselement, Verfahren und Werkzeug zum Herstellen eines Fahrzeugdachglaselements
A vehicle roof glass element having an exterior glass pane and a transparent insulating layer foamed on the inside onto the glass pane has an externally circumferential rim the runner points and the ventilation points of which are provided on the inside of the glass pane. Furthermore, a method and a tool for manufacturing a vehicle roof glass element are described.
COMPOUND MATERIAL, PARTICULARLY COMPOSITE MATERIAL
A compound material, especially a recyclable composite material which consists of at least two material layers bonded by a layer of adhesive. For easy and clean separation of the two material layers, the adhesive consists of a material that gives off and/or generates water vapor when heated to more than 100 C., thereby separating the composite into its constituents.
Hole-punch screen and electronic device
A hole-punch screen includes a light-transmitting cover, a polarizer, and a glass component, where the polarizer is attached to the light-transmitting cover, the polarizer is provided with a first through hole, and the first through hole is filled with optical clear glue; and the glass component is attached to the polarizer so that the polarizer is located between the light-transmitting cover and the glass component, and the glass component is provided with a second through hole at a position corresponding to the first through hole.
COMPOSITE MATERIAL MOLDED ARTICLE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING SAME
A method of producing a composite material molded article includes enclosing a core fiber base material formed from unwoven fabric in a molding tool with the core fiber base material placed between a first reinforcing fiber base material and a second reinforcing fiber base material, injecting matrix resin into the first and second reinforcing fiber base materials in the molding tool, and injecting foamable resin into the core fiber base material in the molding tool.
