CROSS-LINKED FLUOROPOLYMER, TAPE, PIPE, RISER TUBE AND FLOWLINE

The invention provides a cross-linked fluororesin having excellent abrasion resistance against metal. The cross-linked fluororesin is obtainable by cross-linking a fluororesin. The fluororesin contains a tetrafluoroethylene unit and a vinylidene fluoride unit, and the tetrafluoroethylene unit represents 50.0 mol % or more of all the monomer units constituting the fluororesin.

MULTI-LAYER ASSEMBLIES WITH ONE OR MORE MESH LAYERS

Certain configurations of a multi-layer assembly comprising a mesh layer and a first thermoplastic fiber reinforced thermoplastic layer disposed on a first surface of mesh layer are described. In some examples, the multi-layer assembly comprises two fiber reinforced thermoplastic layers coupled to each other through a mesh layer. Articles comprising a multi-layer assembly and methods of producing a multi-layer assembly are also described.

ADHERED STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF

The present invention provides an adhered structure in which members of the same or different materials are adhered to each other with a high adhesive strength and a method for producing the adhered structure. The adhered structure of the present invention comprises a first solid member, a second solid member, and an adhesive member. The first solid member and the second solid member are adhered to each other through the adhesive member. The adhesive member contains a polymer. The polymer is chemically bonded to the first solid member and the second solid member.

An acoustical ceiling panel including a first layer having a first major surface opposite a second major surface and a side surface extending therebetween, a second layer having a first major surface opposite a second major surface and a side surface extending therebetween, and a sealing layer having a first major surface opposite a second major surface and a side surface extending therebetween. The sealing layer may be positioned between the first major surface of the first layer and the second major surface of the second layer. The side surface of the sealing layer may extend beyond the side surface of the first layer and the side surface of the second layer.

Deflecting Member for Making Fibrous Structures

A deflection member that includes a reinforcing member and a plurality of tiles fastened to the reinforcing member.

VEHICULAR UNDERCOVER AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF

The present invention discloses an integrally press-molded vehicular undercover. The undercover includes a needle-punched first fiber layer containing a first inorganic fiber and a first solidified thermoplastic binder and a needle-punched second fiber layer containing a second inorganic fiber and a second solidified thermoplastic binder. The first fiber layer and the second fiber layer are adhered to each other in a state that the undercover has a weak layer between the first fiber layer and the second fiber layer.

Ballistic resistant material

A composite material system having an aggregate bound by an elastomer encapsulant. The composite material (CM) is designed to defeat impinging projectiles by converting the kinetic energy (KE) in the projectile to damage in the aggregate and the elastomer and increasing the thermal energy in the CM and the projectile via frictional heating. In one embodiment, the CM comprises certain kinds of rocks encapsulated (or bound) in a hyper-elastic polymer, such as polyurethane (PU). The CM may be shaped into convenient shapes from modular assembly to create a ballistic resistant surface.
