ACOUSTIC INSULATING PANEL USING RECYCLED MATERIAL
In an aspect a method of manufacturing an acoustic floor panel is described. The method may include: combining a binding agent with plastic flakes; passing the plastic flakes and the binding agent to a lamination machine; applying a force to the binding agent and the plastic flakes using the lamination machine to create a plastic sheet; cutting the plastic sheet; and adding an acoustic insulator to at least a first side of the plastic sheet.
Resin composition, fluorine-based film, fluorine-based laminated film, and laminated molded body
Provided is a resin composition including 40 to 99% by mass of a fluorine-based resin (A), and 1 to 60% by mass of a matting agent (B), in which a swell ratio as measured under the conditions of a measurement temperature of 230° C., an ambient temperature of 23° C., and a shear rate of 96 (1/sec) is 0.90 to 2.00.
Floor and Wall Covering Assembly
A floor and wall covering plank includes sequentially, from bottom to top, a waterproof substrate, an adhesive layer, a veneer layer, a paint protective layer, a UV protective layer. The plank may further include optionally one or more of a padding layer and veneer layer below the waterproof substrate. The edges of the planks are routed to form a click locking system, squared or angled edges, or a tongue and groove configuration for assembling different planks together to form a floor or a wall covering. The waterproof substrate includes, in weight percentage, about 20-50% polymer material such as vinyl containing thermoplastics resin, about 20-50% calcium carbonate filler, and about 3-20% of the wood flour. A method is provided to make the floor and wall covering plank. The method includes extruding the waterproof core substrate.
HARD FLOORING PLANK AND WALL PANEL PLANK
A hard flooring plank and a wall panel plank. The hard flooring plank includes a flooring plank body. A bottom surface of the flooring plank body is bonded with a retractable bonding element. A lower surface of the retractable bonding elements is bonded with a release paper layer. The wall panel plank includes a wall panel plank body. An inner side surface of the wall panel plank is bonded with a retractable bonding element, and the other side surface of the retractable bonding element is bonded with a release paper layer. The hard flooring plank not only overcomes the disadvantage of the hard flooring plank, but also has the advantages of a resilient flooring plank, so that a new breakthrough on the structure of the flooring plank body is achieved.
Microbe mitigating architectural barriers, compositions for forming such barriers and related methods
The invention includes a microbe-mitigating architectural barrier that includes a barrier forming material, and at least one biocide. The barrier forming material may be a bitumen product, an elastomeric polymer and combinations thereof. The microbe-mitigating architectural barrier may be formed by applying an emulsion composition directly to an architectural surface, or may be pre-formed and adhered or otherwise secured to the architectural surface in the form of a sheet or film. The invention also includes architectural assemblies and/or building envelopes that include the microbe-mitigating barrier. Related methods encompassed within the invention include a method of preparing an architectural barrier that includes: (a) preparing an emulsion that comprises a barrier forming material chosen from a bitumen product, an elastomeric polymer and combinations thereof, and at least one biocide, (b) applying the emulsion to at least one architectural surface, and (c) drying and/and or curing the emulsion to form a barrier.
Body impact protection system
A body impact protection system includes an inner layer and an impact force dampening and defusing structure. The inner layer includes a material composition and is adjacent to a body part when the body impact protection system is worn. The impact force dampening and defusing structure is juxtaposed to the inner layer and includes a plurality of components. The components function to reduce pressure on the body part from an impact force on a layer by layer basis. Each layer of the system dampens and defuses the impact force such that, by the time it reaches the body part, it has been substantially attenuated and spread over a large area.
MODULAR FLOORING SYSTEM AND SUBFLOOR ASSEMBLY
A modular flooring system for performance weightlifting and similar activities is provided. The modular flooring system is constructed from one or more individual flooring modules that are interlocked and connected together to provide a customized flooring surface platform. The modular flooring system can include a lifting platform module having a hardwood top surface layer and a subfloor construction. The modular flooring system can include a drop-zone platform module having a rubberized top surface layer and a subfloor construction designed to absorb and withstand the force impact of dropped weights onto the top surface layer. The subfloor construction of the drop-zone module can include an upper subfloor layer, an intermediate subfloor layer and a lower subfloor layer. The intermediate and lower subfloor layers can each including alternating panel sections with one panel section constructed from a foam-based material.
Fluid foil
A passively controlled fluid foil has a span; and a rigid spar extending in the spanwise direction, a cellular material and a flexible outer surface defining a profile of the outer surface of the foil and encapsulating the cellular material and the spar.
Decorative sheet and decorative material using same
Provided is a decorative sheet comprising a base material layer, a transparent resin layer and a surface protection layer in the presented order, wherein at least one of the base material layer and the transparent resin layer is constituted by a resin composition comprising a resin having an ultraviolet absorption wavelength at least at 270 to 300 nm; absorbance All of the surface protection layer at wavelengths from 270 to 300 nm is 0.6 or more; and absorbance A.sub.12 of the transparent resin layer and the surface protection layer at wavelengths from 270 to 300 nm is 2.7 or more, and wherein the decorative sheet can suppress time-dependent degradation caused by ultraviolet ray, and has excellent weather resistance. Also provided is a decorative material obtained using the decorative sheet.
Sound attenuating laminate materials
Sound absorbing or attenuating laminate flooring materials are provided, which are directed to be used in the production of floor covering, floor panels, furniture panels, cabinets, counter-tops and wall panels. As well, the methods for producing such products are provided. In particular, abrasion resistant panels, with a laminated structure, created by forming an assembly which consists of laminating a heat-activated resin impregnated paper wear layer, a decorative layer with printed graphics or a wood veneer decorative layer, a medium density (MDF) or high-density (HDF) natural fiber-based core and a resin impregnated paper balancing layer. To achieve sound absorbing and/or attenuating properties, any or all paper layers may be pre coated with an additional flexible elastomeric coating, film or material prior to assembly of the panel, or the natural fiber core panel may be coated with a flexible elastomeric coating, film or material prior to assembly with the papers. The flexible elastomeric coating, film or material acts to absorb, reduce, and/or ameliorate the sound transmissions inherent in laminated panels.
