Gas barrier film
A gas barrier film including a substrate film containing a resin, and a gas barrier layer that has oxygen barrier properties and is in contact with at least one surface of the substrate film, a surface of the gas barrier layer has a flat portion, and a plurality of protrusions that protrude from the flat portion. The number of protrusions that satisfy the following formula (1) is 0 to 200 per mm.sup.2, and the number of protrusions that satisfy the following formula (2) is 20 or more per mm.sup.2; d×2≤f(1); and 0.2≤f<d×2(2), where d represents a thickness (μm) of the gas barrier layer, and f represents a height (μm) of each of the plurality of protrusions.
Articles made from lipophilic-rich cellulosic material and methods therefor
The invention relates to systems and techniques for manufacturing articles containing cellulosic material, a tackifier, and a binder, and related processes of making and using the cellulosic articles. In particularly exemplary embodiments, the manufactured articles are door skins, sometimes known as door facings, and doors made from the door skins. The article contains a lipophilic cellulosic material, a tackifier, and a binder.
Multilayer tube
This is to provide a multilayer tube excellent in interlayer adhesiveness and durability thereof while maintaining various characteristics such as low temperature impact resistance, bursting pressure strength and flexibility. In a multilayer tube having at least two kinds of layers and the both layers are adjacent to each other, an aliphatic polyamide composition constituting one of the layers contains an aliphatic polyamide having a ratio of a number of methylene groups to a number of amide groups of a specific value or more and a copolymerized polyamide having a specific unit, and an elastomeric polymer which may contain a constitutional unit derived from an unsaturated compound having a carboxyl group(s) and/or an acid anhydride group(s).
CELLULOSIC ARTICLES MADE FROM CELLULOSIC MATERIALS AND METHODS THEREFOR
The invention relates to systems and techniques for manufacturing articles containing cellulosic material, a coupling agent, and a binder resin, and related processes of making and using the cellulosic articles. In particularly exemplary embodiments, the manufactured articles are door skins, sometimes known as door facings, and doors made from the door skins. The article contains a lipophilic cellulosic material, a coupling agent, and a binder. The coupling agent is believed to increase the hydrophilicity (wettability) of the lipophilic cellulosic material.
ASSEMBLY FOR IMPROVED INSULATION
An insulated panel assembly having improved insulative R-value. The insulated panel assembly comprises a cover panel, a first insulation layer, and at least one additional insulation layer, wherein the at least one additional insulation layer has a higher R-value than the first insulation layer. The first insulation layer is secured to the cover panel. The first insulation layer further forms at least one recessed portion. The at least one additional insulation layer is positioned in the at least one recessed portion of the first insulation layer. Examples of the at least one additional insulation layer may include vacuum insulated panels and modified atmosphere insulation panels.
POLYMERIC MATRIX PLYWOOD
Polymeric Matrix Plywood (PMP) is the technical knowledge of manufacturing and using polyolefin resin(One part), for making primers, adhesives and paints, with a process at room temperature And applied in wood and plastic industries and pre-processing of thin wood veneers and plywood construction with Making it possible to glue wooden and plastic layers together and effective penetration of primer and polyolefin adhesive to both wood and thermoplastics materials surfaces, With high penetration and saturation of wood textures and vessels, for making recyclable and renewable polyolefin adhesives and paints for wood, with the possibility of adding electrical conductivity to polyolefin resin And obtaining anti-electrostatic properties of the resulting surfaces, and creating the necessary conditions for plating wooden or plastic surfaces, [FIG. 2].

FOOD PACKAGING ARTICLES INCLUDING SUBSTRATES WITH METAL NANOPARTICLES
An embodiment of the present disclosure a food package article with metal nanoparticles. The metal nanoparticles may absorb microwave radiation and converts microwave radiation into heat.
Method for producing an object comprising a rigid metal core and a polymer-material external coating, and object obtained therewith
To ease and improve the production of objects, a method is described for producing an object (60) comprising a structural core (10) and an outer coating of polymeric material (52), comprising the steps of (i) coating with polymeric material (50) a lamina (10), wherein the lamina comprises a surface exhibiting macroscopic discontinuities (32) configured so that the polymeric material grips to them in order to form a multilayered piece; (ii) removing parts from the multilayer piece to obtain a contour corresponding to the object, the contour comprising an edge (B) along which a margin of the lamina remains uncovered by the polymeric material.
