Moisture barrier package
A packaged moisture sensitive product and a method for packaging a moisture sensitive product. The packaging comprises a primary package, and a secondary 5 package comprising a composite laminate comprising at least one thermoplastic layer and at least one metallic layer.
Protective film and cover window including the same
A cover window includes a protective film including a first protective member, an adhesive layer disposed on the first protective member, a second protective member disposed on at least a part of the adhesive layer, at least one cut line in which at least a part thereof is spaced apart from the second protective member and faces the second protective member and which includes ends spaced apart from each other, and at least one bridge portion disposed in an area in which the cut lines are spaced apart from each other.
Biodegradable and/or home compostable sachet containing a solid article
A sachet product that includes a biodegradable and/or home compostable sachet comprising a front film and a back film. In some examples, the front film and back film can include a middle layer that can contain paper with greater than 85% cellulose and an inner layer that can include different material, including but not limited to polyvinyl alcohol or polyhydroxylalkonate. The sachet can include a compartment adapted for storing a solid article where the solid article is an open cell foam. The open cell foam can include a water-soluble polymer and a surfactant.
Biodegradable and/or home compostable sachet containing a solid article

In some examples, the front film and back film can include a middle layer that can contain paper with greater than 85% cellulose and an inner layer that can include different material, including but not limited to polyvinyl alcohol or polyhydroxylalkonate. The sachet can include a compartment adapted for storing a solid article where the solid article is an open cell foam. The open cell foam can include a water-soluble polymer and a surfactant.
Composite cooling film comprising an organic polymeric layer, a UV-absorbing layer, and a reflective metal layer
A composite cooling film including non-fluorinated organic polymeric layer, a metal layer disposed inwardly of the non-fluorinated organic polymeric layer, and an antisoiling, ultraviolet-absorbing hardcoat layer that is disposed outwardly of the non-fluorinated organic polymeric layer.
WATERPROOF SOUND-TRANSMITTING SHEET
A waterproof sound-transmitting sheet, which interposes an adhesive layer composed of a material having micropores formed therein, thus smoothing the flow of the air between a waterproof sound-transmitting layer and a support layer. The waterproof sound-transmitting sheet includes a waterproof sound-transmitting layer formed of a film having elasticity, an adhesive layer having one surface adhered to one surface of the waterproof sound-transmitting layer, and a support layer having one surface adhered to the other surface of the adhesive layer; and the adhesive layer includes a substrate having a pore formed therein and an adhesive agent formed on both surfaces of the substrate.
PROTECTIVE PACKAGING AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
The disclosure is directed to methods of manufacturing protective packaging materials, as well as the protective packaging materials produced using the disclosed methods. These packaging materials can be biodegradable, compostable, and/or recyclable.
METHOD OF MAKING FILM LAMINATES USING AMINE-REACTIVE ACRYLIC LAMINATION ADHESIVES
A description is given of a method of making film laminates using a lamination adhesive comprising (a) at least one acrylic polymer A with anhydride groups which are reactive with primary or secondary amine groups; and (b) at least one compound B with at least two amine groups selected from primary and secondary amine groups. The acrylic polymer A has a molecular weight of from 3000 to 50000 and the lamination adhesive is free of organic solvents, free of water and free of compounds with isocyanate groups.
Bulk Diffuser
This disclosure describes a composition that includes a bulk diffuser that includes a film having a major surface; the film includes a polymer, and a scattering element. The scattering element includes a silicone bead having a mean particle diameter in a range of 2 micrometers (μm) to 9 μm. The linear density of the film is at least 5.1 W.sub.i*μm, wherein the linear density equals the product of the mass fraction of the silicone bead (W.sub.i) and film thickness in micrometers (μm). This disclosure further describes methods of making the film and the bulk diffuser and methods of using the film including, for example, as a bulk diffuser in a sign box.
AGRICULTURAL DAYLIGHTING MEMBER AND AGRICULTURAL BOX
A greenhouse has a daylighting member supported by a frame. The daylighting member partitions a growing space for agricultural products from an outside world, and emits light, which has entered from a light incident surface on one side, from a light emitting surface on the other side. The daylighting member has a transparent substrate layer and a transparent light emitting layer provided closer to a light emitting surface side than the substrate layer. The light emitting layer has a refractive index of 1.54 or less, water absorbability, and an equilibrium moisture content of 10% or greater at 25° C. and a relative humidity of 80%.
