Thermoplastic Elastomer Compositions, Their Preparation and Use in Fiber-Reinforced Spoolable Pipes
A spoolable pipe (100) comprising: a barrier layer (104) formed around a longitudinal axis of the pipe; a reinforcing layer (105) disposed around the barrier layer comprising a fiber material; and an outer layer (110), wherein at least one of the reinforcing layer (105) and the outer layer (110) comprises a thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) composition comprising a thermoplastic matrix and a rubber phase dispersed in the thermoplastic matrix and having a thermal conductivity of about 0.2 W/m-K or less.
SEPARATION SHEET AND USE THEREOF FOR PROVIDING WATERPROOFED STRUCTURES
A separation sheet includes a polymeric carrier layer, a first adhesive layer, a second adhesive layer, and optionally a first and a second release liner. A method for producing a separation sheet, a method for waterproofing a substrate, a waterproofed substrate, and a use of the separation sheet for bonding of roof membranes to roof substrates.
WOUND DRESSING WITH MULTIPLE ADHESIVE LAYERS
A wound dressing is provided. The wound dressing includes a moisture-transmissible backing layer having a first major surface, a second major surface, and a backing layer perimeter; an absorbent hydrophilic adhesive adhered to at least a portion of the second major surface of the backing layer, the absorbent hydrophilic adhesive comprising an absorbent hydrophilic adhesive perimeter; an antimicrobial agent disposed in the absorbent hydrophilic adhesive; a porous layer having a first side adhered to the absorbent hydrophilic adhesive, a second side, and a porous layer perimeter; and a second hydrophobic adhesive adhered to the second side of the porous layer. The second major surface has a first hydrophobic adhesive disposed thereon proximate the backing layer perimeter. 100% of the absorbent hydrophilic adhesive perimeter is overlapped by the backing layer. At least 50% of the porous layer perimeter is overlapped by the absorbent hydrophilic adhesive.
POLYMERIC INTERLAYERS AND MULTIPLE LAYER PANELS MADE THEREFROM EXHIBITING ENHANCED PROPERTIES AND PERFORMANCE
Polymeric interlayers for use in making multiple layer panels having a unique balance of properties are provided. Single and multiple layer interlayers according to various embodiments of the present invention can be used to form multiple layer panels that exhibit both enhanced rigidity and improved impact resistance, while still retaining desirable optical performance. Interlayers and multiple layer panels of the present invention may be particularly suitable for use in a wide range of applications, including, for example, in many indoor and outdoor architectural and structural applications.
Floor Mat Having Reduced Tuft Profile
This invention relates to a floor mat having reduced tuft profile on the backside of the textile component of the floor mat. The floor mat is comprised of a textile component and a base component. The textile component includes face yarn tufted through a primary backing layer. The reduced tuft profile is present on the backside of the textile component. Advantages of a floor mat with reduced tuft profile include improved uniformity of the secondary backing layer applied to the textile component and improved durability of the textile component.

PROCESS FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF EPDM-SILICONE HYBRID PRODUCTS
The invention relates to a process for the manufacture of hybrid products comprising at least two different elastomer materials bonded to each other, said at least two different elastomer materials being based on at least one rubber of the ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) type and at least one rubber of the silicone type wherein the silicone rubber comprises alkenyl functionalized polydialkylsiloxanes. The inventive process is particularly useful for the manufacture of EPDM-silicone hybrid sealing profiles.
FILM STACK WITH OVERLAMINATE FILM LAYER AND REMOVABLE SKIN LAYER
Film stacks are described. In particular, film stacks including a base overlaminate film layer and a removeable skin layer disposed on the base overlaminate film layer are described. Because the removable skin layer develops haze before the point of irreversibly damaging the base overlaminate layer, the film stack can prevent unintentional overstretching when the film stack is stretched together.
NON-PNEUMATIC TIRE WITH IMPROVED SHEAR BAND
A shear band and a non-pneumatic tire is described which includes a ground contacting annular tread portion; a shear band, and a connecting web positioned between a hub and the shear band. The shear band is preferably comprised of a three-dimensional spacer fabric having a first and second layer connected by connecting members. The three-dimensional spacer fabric has a defined depth. The three-dimensional spacer structure further includes a plurality of cells formed between the connecting members, and wherein one or more of the cells are filled with a filler material. The filler material may be foam or a thermoplastic elastomer.
