A charging member for an image forming apparatus may include a conductive support and a surface layer on the conductive support and not in contact with a photosensitive member. The surface layer may comprise a urethane foam including foam cells and having a foam structure based on the foam cells, the foam cells including open cells.

An injection trainer may comprise a muscle block, a surface layer, and an intermediate between the muscle block and the surface layer. The muscle block may include one or more regions comprising an arrangement of fill material defined by a repeating unit cell. The muscle block may provide sufficient back pressure to actuate an injector. The surface layer and/or intermediate layer may provide realistic feeling tissue that a use may pinch during the injection process.

A material for reducing exposure to ionizing radiation. A biological sensor that is to be affixed to a living body and is for acquiring a biological signal includes a cover member; and a porous substrate having a porous structure, the porous substrate being disposed on the cover member on a side of the living body. A moisture permeability of the sticking layer is within a range from 65 g/m.sup.2.Math.day to 4000 g/m.sup.2.Math.day.

A method of and system for adhesive bonding by a) providing a polymerizable adhesive composition on a surface of an element to be bonded to form an assembly; b) irradiating the assembly with radiation at a first wavelength capable of vulcanization of bonds in the polymerizable adhesive composition by activation of sulfur-containing compound with at least one selected from x-ray, e-beam, visible, or infrared light to thereby generate ultraviolet light in the polymerizable adhesive composition; and c) adhesively joining two or more components together by way of the polymerizable adhesive composition, and a curable polymer for use therein.

At least 50% of the porous layer perimeter is overlapped by the absorbent hydrophilic adhesive.

Examples of products that may incorporate cultured leather include footwear, apparel, athletic equipment, furniture, handbags or any other consumer or industrial product that commonly incorporates conventional leather or synthetic leather.
