EFFICIENT ENRICHED OXYGEN AIRFLOW SYSTEMS AND METHODS
The invention provides new systems/methods for providing oxygen to chronically ill patients, such as COPD patients, through a more efficient portable oxygen concentrator (“POC”) that at least sometimes delivers an enriched airflow having a significantly lower overall oxygen concentration than that administered by typical POCs. In aspects, the methods/systems of the present invention are configured to automatically switch from pulse delivery to continuous delivery, from continuous delivery to pulse delivery, or any combination thereof, at least once per day, when certain conditions occur. Methods/system can comprise the ability to switch between mode(s) comprising delivery of a moderately enriched oxygen airflow (MEOA) and mode(s) comprising delivery of intensively enriched oxygen airflow, highly enriched oxygen airflow, or both, and back again, based on one or more parameters.
Seat device
In a configuration in which a holder holding a controller is mounted on a seat part with a plate-shaped member, the exposure of the mounting part of the plate-shaped member on which the holder is mounted is eliminated. A seat device includes a pressure sensor measuring a value relating to the seated person's state, a vibration imparting device a vibration imparting operation, an ECU controlling the vibration imparting device corresponding to the measurement result of the pressure sensor, a holder holding the ECU, and a mounting bracket fixed to a lower frame such that the holder is mounted on the lower frame of a seat part. The mounting bracket includes a mounting projection on which a side wall of the holder is mounted in a predetermined mounting direction. When the side wall is mounted on the mounting projection, the mounting projection is covered with the side wall.

Providing sleep therapy with a pressure therapy system
The present disclosure pertains to a system configured to enhance deep sleep in a subject during positive airway pressure therapy. A pressure generator is configured to generate a pressurized flow of breathable gas for delivery to an airway of the subject. Sensors are configured to generate output signals conveying information related to breathing of the subject. One or more hardware processors are configured to cause the pressure generator to generate the pressurized flow of breathable gas in accordance with a positive airway pressure therapy regime based on the information in the output signals; determine sleep stages of the subject based on the information in the output signals; and responsive to the sleep stages indicating the subject is in deep sleep, cause the pressure generator to adjust the pressurized flow of breathable gas to deliver a stimulus to the subject, the stimulus configured to enhance deep sleep in the subject.
Substance Delivery Device and Methods
A substance delivery device and methods to promote treatment regimen compliance. A beneficial substance and an addictive substance are administered from a device delivering the substances by a user inhaling vaporized or atomized beneficial substances and addictive substances.

SLEEP PHASE DEPENDENT TEMPERATURE CONTROL AND LEARNING METHODS TO OPTIMIZE SLEEP QUALITY
A bed includes components to control temperature of a sleep surface, for example based on time and historical usage patterns by a user. In some embodiments the temperature of the sleep surface is controlled based on information indicating a sleep state of the user. In some embodiments the temperature is dynamically adjusted so to achieve particular sleep states and/or sleep patterns for the user. In some embodiments the temperature and timing of temperature adjustments is iteratively adjusted over multiple sleep sessions so to achieve improvements in sleep states and/or sleep quality for the user.
Apparatus, system and method for detecting and monitoring inhalations
Described herein are an interactive apparatus and methods for sensing and measuring real-time characteristic patterns of a subject's use of a dry powder inhalation system. The inhaler device can be used in a wireless communication mode to communicate with a display to assess the subject's usage of the inhalation system concurrently as the inhalation is performed and thus the subject's inhalation can be evaluated as well as the performance of the inhalation system. The system can also detect the identity of the medicament, its dosage, lot, expiration, etc. and the characteristics profile of a dry powder formulation emitted from the inhalation system in use.
