FLEXIBLE COMPOSITE
A flexible composite that can be set to become rigid or semi-rigid includes a first layer and a second layer opposing the first layer and separated from the first layer by a space. A fill material capable of setting to a rigid or semi-rigid solid is located in the space. A plurality of elements extend substantially into the space from the first layer and/or the second layer and which may pass through the opposing layer or join with other elements present in the space from an opposing layer, thereby forming linking elements for joining the layers together. The unset fill material is provided in the space at a pressure such that tension is applied one or more of the linking elements and to cause the first and/or second layers to bulge outwards relative to the longitudinal length of said one or more linking elements under tension.
Porous membrane
A porous membrane is provided having a compound having an ionic group and a hydrophobic group, a metal oxide, and a binder resin. The content of the compound having an ionic group and a hydrophobic group is 0.2 to 2 parts by mass relative to 100 parts by mass of the metal oxide.
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVES INCLUDING EXPANDABLE GRAPHITE
A building material comprising a substrate layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, where the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer includes expandable graphite.
Pressure-sensitive adhesives including expandable graphite
A building material comprising a substrate layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, where the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer includes expandable graphite.
MAGNETIC INSULATION
Various insulations that employ magnetic components are disclosed herein. A sheet insulation component is formed out of an insulation material. A sheet magnetic component is attached to the face of the sheet insulation component. The sheet magnetic component substantially covers the face of the sheet insulation component.
Pressure-sensitive adhesives including expandable graphite
A building material comprising a substrate layer and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer, where the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer includes expandable graphite.
METHOD OF MAKING A PRODUCT WITH COMPOSITE BODY AND RUBBER SURFACE
A composite product is made by forming an object body comprising a mixture of rubber crumb and binder having a first temperature-dependent cure rate. A surface layer of a vulcanizable rubber compound having a second temperature-dependent cure rate is brought into contact with the object body, and the surface layer and the object body are simultaneously cured at different temperatures so as to match said first and second cure rates such that the surface layer adheres to the object body.
Multi-component tiles
Provided is a tile for concealing an underlying surface. The tile includes a base including a downward-facing surface that is to oppose an underlying surface on which the tile is to rest. The base is formed, at least in part, from a material including a combination of crumb rubber and rice hull material. A plurality of feet extend in a downwardly direction from the downward-facing surface to contact the underlying surface on which the tile is to rest and separate the downward-facing surface from the underlying surface. A cap is coupled to a surface of the base opposite the downward-facing surface comprising the feet.
Self-adhesive waterproof coiled material of super-strong cross laminated film and preparation process
The present invention relates to a self-adhesive waterproof coiled material of a super-strong cross laminated film, comprising sequentially from top to bottom: an isolation protection layer, a non-asphalt-based self-adhesive layer, a strong cross laminated film, an asphalt self-adhesive layer and a PE isolation film. One side of the upper surface of the coiled material is provided with an overlap edge, and the other side of the lower surface of the coiled material is also provided with an overlap edge. The waterproof coiled material provided in the present invention has better adhesive property with post-cast concrete than an asphalt-based coiled material, and can be better bonded to a main body structure (i.e., pre-paving anti-sticking coiled material); the strong cross laminated film in the middle of the coiled material has good ductility, so that when the base layer slightly subsides or the main body structure is slightly deformed, the coiled material can continue to be well bonded to the main body structure and would not be separated; and a good waterproof effect thus can be achieved.
