A multi-layered animal garment is configured to aid shedding of fur from an animal. The garment includes a fur agitation layer comprising a plurality of fur agitation features to facilitate the shedding as the fur agitation layer moves relative to the fur and a mesh layer configured to retain fur pieces shed from the fur. Each layer includes at least one leg band configured to be attached to a leg of the animal. The fur agitation layer and the mesh layer are elastically connected to each other. The leg band of the fur agitation layer and the leg band of the mesh layer cause the fur agitation layer and the mesh layer to move in relation to each other.

Composition and films comprising polylactic acid polymer and copolymer comprising long chain alkyl moiety
Compositions and films are described comprising a polylactic (PLA) polymer and a copolymer comprising a first moiety comprising a C12-C30 alkyl group and a second moiety that is miscible in the composition. Suitable first moieties include a C12-C30 alkyl (meth)acrylate or a polyvinyl alcohol comprising pendent C12-C30 alkyl groups. Suitable second moieties include C1-C10 (meth)acrylic acid or ester thereof, vinyl acetate and ethylene vinyl acetate. The aforementioned composition may be used to form a release layer of an adhesive article such as a pressure sensitive adhesive tape. The films may be a monolithic film or a film layer of a multilayer film. The release layer may be disposed upon a substrate layer that may also comprise PLA. The films are produced by melt extrusion of the aforementioned composition and may be oriented.
Metallized, Oriented, and Thin LLDPE Films
This disclosure provides compositions and methods for an oriented film that may include a core layer consisting essentially of biaxially oriented linear low-density polyethylene, wherein the core layer has a first side and a second side. Further, the film may include a first sealant layer consisting essentially of biaxially oriented linear low-density polyethylene on the first side, and a second sealant layer consisting essentially of biaxially oriented linear low-density polyethylene on the first side, wherein the linear low-density polyethylenes in each of the film's layers may be of more than one type/grade, have the same or different densities, or both. Further still, the film is 30 ?m or less in thickness, has a water-vapor transmission rate of ?1 g/m.sup.2/d at 38? C. and 90% relative humidity, and has an oxygen transmission rate of ?100 cm.sup.3/m.sup.2/d at 23? C. and 0% relative humidity.

The present teachings generally provide curable polysiloxane compositions including a base resin including a MQ vinyl siloxane. Articles of manufacture including the curable polysiloxane compositions and slippery coatings and materials also are provided. The compositions may be used to provide slippery, lubricious, or repellent materials and coatings and may provide anti-fouling function. The compositions can provide anti-fouling or foul-release function on open surfaces, internal surfaces, membranes; to provide pinning free or low contact angle hysteresis surfaces; to provide homogeneous interface to suppress nucleation; to provide a barrier layer such as anti-corrosion; to provide anti-stain, anti-smudge, anti-fingerprint, anti-soil function.
STICKY CLEANER
Provided is a sticky cleaner whose adhesive face can be easily renewed and whish is less susceptible to roll-loosening. The sticky cleaner provided by this invention comprises a PSA tape having an adhesive face on the first face of a substrate. The PSA tape forms a PSA tape roll wound with the adhesive face on the outside. On the first face of the substrate, the PSA tape comprises a first layer formed of a PSA and a second layer formed of an acrylic viscoelastic material. The adhesive face comprises first sections where the first layer is exposed and second sections where the second layer is exposed. The second sections protrude further out of the PSA tape roll relative to the first sections. The PSA tape roll shows an unwinding force F.sub.0 at 0 C. and an unwinding force F.sub.30 at 30 C.
