Roof Underlayment
An air and water barrier article comprised of multiple layers. The layers include a porous layer, a polymeric layer disposed on a front side of the porous layer, and a pressure sensitive adhesive disposed on a second side of the porous layer. In certain embodiments, a top polymeric layer having hydrophobic and UV resistant properties will be provided on a surface of the first polymeric layer opposite the adhesive layer. Each of the polymeric layers and the porous layer can be formed of a material(s) having a Tg between −40° C. and 20° C. The top layer, if present, can have a Tg between −5 and 30° C. The barrier article can provide nail seal ability and have a weight of less than 30 ounces per square yard.

A resin composition containing: a thermoplastic resin (A) that does not contain a polar group; a thermoplastic resin (B) that contains a polar group; an ethylene-vinyl alcohol copolymer (C) having an ethylene content of 20 to 60 mol %; acetic acid and/or a salt thereof (D); an aliphatic carboxylic acid (E) having 3 or more carbon atoms; and an aliphatic carboxylic acid metal salt (F) that is a metal salt of the aliphatic carboxylic acid (E), wherein the content of (A) is 66 to 99 wt. % with respect to the total sum of contents of the resin composition and the content of (C) is 0.1 to 25 wt. % with respect to the total sum of the contents of the resin composition.
RESIN COMPOSITION FOR SEALANT, MULTILAYERED BODY, PACKAGING MATERIAL AND PACKAGING CONTAINER
A resin composition for a sealant, comprising an ethylene/polar monomer copolymer (A), an adhesion-imparting resin (B) and a 4-methyl-1-pentene/α-olefin copolymer (C), a content of the 4-methyl-1-pentene/α-olefin copolymer (C) being from 1% by mass to 20% by mass with respect to a total mass of the resin composition for a sealant.
ENERGY DAMPENING SYSTEMS
Energy dampening and/or dispersing systems may include a gel member having a top surface and a bottom surface, an aerated gel member having a top surface and a bottom surface, and the top surface of the aerated gel member secured to the bottom surface of the gel member. In some embodiments, the energy dampening and/or dispersing systems may include a support structure secured to the gel member, and a cover extending over the top surface of the support structure and the bottom surface of the aerated gel member. The energy dampening and/or dispersing systems may be operable in ballistic garments, footwear, sporting goods, and vehicles.
Metal resin composite-molded article and method for manufacturing same
A metal resin composite-molded article which can suppress deformation induced by laser processing in a technique for improving the adhesion between a metal plate and a resin by forming grooves on the surface of the metal plate by means of a laser, even if the metal plate is thin. A metal resin composite-molded article obtained by insert-molding a resin composition on a metal plate having a thickness of 500 μm or less, grooves are formed on the surface of the metal plate in which the resin composition is inserted, the width of the grooves is 30-300 μm, the depth of the grooves is at most 24% of the thickness of the metal plate, and the ratio of the width to the depth is 0.1-2.5.
Encapsulation film including metal layer and protective layer with resin component
The present application provides an encapsulation film comprising an encapsulation layer, a metal layer, and a protective layer. The encapsulation film provides a structure capable of blocking moisture or oxygen introduced into an organic electronic device from the outside, minimizes the appearance change of the film due to excellent handling properties and processability, and prevents physical and chemical damage during encapsulation process.

Decorative sheet and method for manufacturing molded article
Provided is a decorative sheet in which a graphic is less deteriorated even after injection molding. First and second graphic layers contain a plurality of interference pigments that emit respective interference lights having respective colors in a first direction in first and second binders to exhibit first and second mixed colors. An optical functional layer changes a reflectance property of light. The first and second graphic layers represent a graphic visually recognizable from a front surface of a decorative sheet and allow visually recognizing an image displayed on a back surface from the front surface. The optical functional layer increases at least one of ratios of an amount of visible light representing the graphic and an amount of visible light representing the image that transmits through the first and second graphic layers to an amount of visible light reflected by and visible on the front surface.
