MULTIWALL PAPER PACKAGING STRUCTURES
A packaging article includes an outer, intermediate, and inner paper plies. A first adhesive layer is disposed between the inner and intermediate paper plies for gluing the inner paper ply to the intermediate paper ply. A second adhesive layer is disposed between the intermediate and outer paper plies for gluing the intermediate paper ply to the outer paper ply. The first and second adhesive layers overlap and are coaligned. The outer, intermediate, and inner paper plies are adjoined to form a multiwall structure, wherein the first adhesive layer and the second adhesive layer are coaligned with each other on the multiwall structure. The first adhesive layer comprises a first plurality of adhesive spots and the second adhesive layer comprises a second plurality of adhesive spots, wherein the adhesive spots of the first plurality of adhesive spots do not overlap with the adhesive spots of the second plurality of adhesive spots.
Stretch-Release Adhesive Articles with a Pattern of Slits
Stretch-release adhesive articles with tunable mechanical properties are provided. The articles include a stretchable carrier extending along a first direction and including a first major surface and a second major surface opposite the first major surface. At least one of the first and second major surfaces of the stretchable carrier is a stretch-releasable adhesive surface, and the stretchable carrier includes a pattern of slits distributed thereon and configured to deform upon a stretch on the stretchable carrier to elongate the stretchable carrier.
Sterilizable multilayer material
Sterilizable multilayer material (1), in particular for packaging at least one device for medical use, comprising a non-thermofusible sheet (2) sandwiched between two lower and upper thicknesses (3, 4) of thermofusible material of at least one thermofusible sheet (F), these thicknesses of thermofusible material being welded together across the non-thermofusible sheet.
Base paper for paper tube, and paper tube
An object is to provide a base paper for paper tubes that has lower environmental impact and is used for manufacturing of paper tubes offering excellent water resistance. As a solution, a base paper for paper tubes is provided, wherein: it has two or more but no more than five paper layers; the paper layers are bonded by a water-soluble or water-dispersible adhesive; and its elution rate is 2.0 percent or lower.
LAYERED BODY
It is provided that a layered body having excellent absorption speeds of fuel and the like to the filter media. A layered body comprising a first base material and a second base material, wherein the first base material and the second base material are adhered to each other via an adhesive, the first and second base materials each contain a phenol-based resin and an aliphatic hydrocarbon detected during a retention time of 12.0 to 30.0 minutes under pyrolysis-gas chromatography mass spectrometry (PY-GC/MS), and the adhesive contains 65 mol % or more of a butylene terephthalate unit and 5 mol % or more of a butylene isophthalate unit, and has an acid value of not larger than 100 eq/ton, a glass transition temperature of −10 to 60° C., and a specific gravity of not less than 1.20.
WATER-BASED ADHESIVE FOR THE MANUFACTURE OF LAMINATED CELLULOSIC BOARDS COMPRISING MONOLAYER GRAPHENE OXIDE, LAMINATED CELLULOSIC BOARDS OBTAINED THEREWITH, AND METHODS FOR PRODUCTION THEREOF
A water-based adhesive for the manufacture of laminated cellulosic boards includes monolayer graphene oxide as a glue enhancer. Laminated cellulosic boards may be obtained by providing cellulosic plies, applying a water-based adhesive, and contacting the surface of another cellulosic ply to the first cellulosic ply. A method for producing the water-based adhesive includes mixing starch, water and glue enhancer. The glue enhancer is a suspension of between 0.1 wt % and 0.001 wt % of monolayer graphene oxide in water.
METHOD AND MACHINE FOR PRODUCING MULTI-PLY CELLULOSE MATERIAL, AND MATERIAL PRODUCED
For bonding together two or more plies of cellulose fibers, the plies are fed to a lamination nip between a ply-bonding rotating element and an anvil element. The ply-bonding rotating element has rollers with a cylindrical surface provided with small protuberances co-acting with larger protuberances provided on a cylindrical surface of the anvil rotating element. The plies are bonded, if necessary with the aid of a functional fluid, not containing adhesive, due to the effect of the pressure between the protuberances.
CURABLE REACTIVE SILICONE COMPOSITION, CURED PRODUCT THEREOF AND USES OF COMPOSITION AND CURED PRODUCT
Provided is: a curing reactive silicone composition having sufficient toughness and pressure sensitive adhesive strength to temporarily secure various substrate even in an uncured state, having heat meltability and excellent moldability of a sheet or the like, and that can be quickly cured by high energy irradiation to achieve high adhesive strength; a method of manufacturing a sheet thereof a cured product thereof that can achieve high adhesive strength by crimping; and applications thereof. The curing reactive silicone composition comprises: (A) an MQ resin; (B) a chain organopolysiloxane having at least two groups containing an aliphatic unsaturated carbon-carbon bond, and a degree of siloxane polymerization within a range of 80 to 3000; (C) an organohydrogenpolysiloxane; and (D) a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst activated by a high energy beam. The amount of component (A) is more than 55 mass % and less than 90 mass % of the sum of components (A) to (C).
HANGING DEVICE
A hanging device and methods of making the hanging device are shown and described herein. The hanging device may be a hook or a hanging device. The hanging device comprises: a) a first outer liner; b) at least one inner layer; and c) a second outer liner. For the hanging device, the first outer liner is at least partially disposed on the at least one inner layer and the second outer liner is at least partially disposed on the at least one inner layer, and the first outer liner, the at least one inner layer, and the second outer liner are laminated together. The hanging device may be comprised of a biobased material and/or a recycled material. The hanging device may be biodegradable.
