LAMINATION MACHINE AND LAMINATION METHOD
The invention provides a lamination machine and a lamination method thereof. The lamination machine of the invention includes two length adjustment mechanisms, a lamination support platform and a pressing mechanism. Each of the two length adjustment mechanisms includes a plurality of direction guiding rollers. The lamination support platform includes a plurality of pressing members, a plurality of feed-in rollers and a plurality of feed-out rollers. The pressing members are stacked in a single axial direction. The feed-in rollers, the feed-out rollers and the direction guiding rollers drag a laminated film to pass through the pressing members in sequence. The pressing mechanism provides a pressing force to the pressing members to synchronously press the laminated film located on the pressing members.
Laminate comprising a support element and an element having loops which are fixed to one another, in particular calendered to one another
Laminate comprising a support component (1) in the form of a first layer of fibres and/or filaments, in particular a first non-woven fabric, and a component (2) with loops in the form of a second layer of fibres and/or filaments, in particular a second non-woven fabric with loops, the two components being fastened to one another, wherein the fastening causes so-called calendering islands (3, 3) to appear on the external surface of the component with loops in the shape of an S with symmetrical heads, characterised in that each S-shaped island with symmetrical heads consists of two sub-islands (3A, 3B; 3A, 3B) forming opposite heads and an intermediate, non-fastened region (4; 4) separating the two sub-islands forming opposite heads.
LAMINATION METHOD AND LAMINATION DEVICE PERFORMING THE SAME
A lamination method includes measuring a flatness of a first stage on which an object to be processed is placed, measuring an amount of sagging of an attachment roller which presses a film to attach the film to the object to be processed, primarily adjusting the flatness of the first stage based on the amount of sagging of the attachment roller, and secondarily adjusting the flatness of the first stage in a way such that a flatness of an end of the first stage relative to a center of the first stage has a smaller step than the first stage adjusted primarily.
DEVICE FOR COATING A CARRIER SUBSTRATE WITH A POWDERED MATERIAL
Examples relate to a device including a first application unit having a first roller and second roller forming, in a nip between the outer cylindrical surfaces thereof, a first gap through which powdered material can be conveyed to form a first dry film. The second roller, or a further roller following downstream from the second roller, together with a counter-pressure roller forms a second gap through which a carrier substrate is guided to have the dry film applied. The first and the second rollers can be inclined with respect to one another based on a relative progression of axes of rotation thereof and can be varied in relative inclinations. The first or second roller is mounted in the device to be pivotable about an actual or imaginary pivot axis which extends perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the pivotable roller and/or of the other of the two rollers.
Methods of making a core layer for an information carrying card, and resulting products
The disclosure provides a core layer for an information carrying card, resulting information carrying card, and methods of making the same. A core layer for an information carrying card comprises at least one thermoplastic layer having at least one cavity, an inlay layer, and, and a crosslinked polymer composition. At least one portion of the inlayer layer is disposed inside the at least one cavity of the at least one thermoplastic layer. The cross-linked polymer composition is disposed over the at least one thermoplastic layer and contacting the inlayer layer.
Sheet laminator and image forming system incorporating the sheet laminator
A sheet laminator including a thermal pressure roller, a power cutoff device, a mover, a power line, and circuitry. The thermal pressure roller pair includes first and second rollers, and first and second heaters, to form a nip region to press and convey a two-ply sheet. The power cutoff device detects a change in temperature of at least one of the first or second roller, and cuts off a power to at least one of the first or second heater. The mover relatively moves the second roller away from the first roller. The power line couples the power cutoff device to the mover. The circuitry is to cause the power cutoff device to cut off the power line, and cause the mover to relatively move the second roller away from the first roller, in response to the power cutoff to at least one of the first or second heater.
