A laminated film includes a plurality of optically anisotropic layers, excellent in transparency, with few point defects, and exhibits little reflected light where the laminated film is applied to a display device brought into a black display state; and a circularly polarizing plate. The laminated film includes first, second, third, and fourth optically anisotropic layers, in order, in which the first, second, third, and fourth optically anisotropic layers are each formed by fixing an aligned liquid crystal compound, an adhesion layer selected from the group consisting of an adhesive layer, and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer is provided on only one of between the first and second optically anisotropic layers, between the second and third optically anisotropic layers, and between the third and fourth optically anisotropic layers, and the laminated film has a minimum transmittance of 60% or more in a wavelength range of 400 to 700 nm.

Barrier film laminate, method of producing the same, wavelength conversion sheet, backlight unit, and electroluminescent light-emitting unit

The present invention provides a barrier film laminate including a first barrier film that includes a first substrate layer and a first barrier layer formed on the first substrate layer, a second barrier film that includes a second substrate layer and a second barrier layer formed on the substrate layer, and an adhesive layer. In the barrier film laminate, the first barrier film is bonded with the second barrier film so that the first barrier layer faces the second barrier layer with the adhesive layer interposed therebetween. In one embodiment of the barrier film laminate, the adhesive layer is formed of an adhesive containing an epoxy resin, a curing agent having an amino group, and either a silane coupling agent having an epoxy group or a silane coupling agent having an amino group and two hydrolyzable functional groups.

Composite gypsum panels and methods of making thereof are provided. The composite gypsum panels can include one or more gypsum panel substrates having one or more urethane layers applied thereto. The urethane layers can be or can include foamed urethane layers, provided for structural integrity while being lighter than conventional gypsum panels having the same overall thickness. The panel can have a dense coating layer, a foamed coating layer, or both a dense coating layer and a foamed coating layer. The dense coating layers and foamed coating layers can each offer certain advantages over conventional gypsum panels. Additionally, in various aspects, the composite panel includes a water-resistant barrier and increased nail and screw retention.

Photocurable adhesive composition

Provided is a method of manufacturing a liquid crystal panel employing a photocurable adhesive composition which causes no damage to adherends during bonding and which, when used in bonding rugged adherends, can bond the adherends without forming a gap therebetween. The photocurable adhesive composition of the inventive method comprises (A) 100 parts by mass of a urethane (meth)acrylate oligomer having a weight-average molecular weight of 20,000 to 100,000, (B) 5 parts to 70 parts by mass of a phenoxy resin, and (C) 0.1 parts to 10 parts by mass of a photopolymerization initiator. The uncured composition has a loss tangent (loss modulus/storage modulus) of less than 1 at 25° C. and the temperature at which the loss tangent of the uncured composition reaches 1 or more is 80° C. or less.

Bonding composition comprising a sulfur impregnated particulate solid

There is provide a curable composition comprising a) one or more reactive components that cure upon exposure to suitable conditions, and b) a sulfur impregnated particulate solid which acts as a release agent for sulfur during the cure process; and c) optionally a solvent.

Fast curing adhesive useful for bonding to glass

A composition comprising: a one part adhesive composition comprising a) one or more isocyanate components; b) one or more catalysts for the reaction of isocyanate groups with active hydrogen containing groups; c) one or more fillers which do not enhance the formation of voids during curing; d) one or more fillers having basic character; and a cure accelerator comprising: e) one or more liquid carriers; f) water; and g) one or more paste forming agents. The one part adhesive composition may be used alone where ambient temperature and humidities afford reasonably rapid cure rates. The cure accelerator may be used when temperatures and/or humidities are sufficiently low such that the cure rate of the adhesive alone is not acceptable for a particular use.
