Composite land vehicle frame
A composite frame for vehicles formed with a honeycomb or similar core laminated on the top and bottom sides with a layer of material joined by an adhesive layer. One or more structural beams or stringer are interposed between the top and bottom layer of the composite frame running part or all of the length or width of the composite frame. Each of these structural members may also be joined to the top and bottom material as well as the adjacent honeycomb or by a layer of adhesive or by other means. One embodiment of the frame may be perfectly flat along a horizontal axis. A second embodiment may conform to any curvature, angle or combination specified.
INSULATION ARTICLES INCLUDING CORROSION INHIBITORS AND METHODS OF PRODUCING THE SAME
Unique insulation articles including corrosion inhibitors and methods of producing the same are disclosed. One exemplary embodiment is an article of manufacture comprising an insulation mat comprising a cured combination of a plurality of randomly oriented fibers and a binder, the insulation mat extending between a first surface and a second surface, a veil attached to the first surface, the veil structured to inhibit physical movement of the cured combination through the veil, a metal sheet attached to the second surface by a water-containing adhesive contacting the metal sheet and the second surface, and a corrosion inhibitor composition deposited on the cured combination of the insulation mat, the corrosion inhibitor composition being effective to modify toward neutral a pH of the cured combination in contact with water from the water-containing adhesive.
POLARIZING FILM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
Proposed are a method of manufacturing a polarizing film and the polarizing film thereto that is not harmful to the human body by making the surface of a PC film hydrophilic, and laminating it with a PVA film using water-based adhesive on the surface of the hydrophilic PC film, in manufacturing the polarizing film by laminating a polycarbonate (PC: polyvinyl alcohol) film and a polyvinyl alcohol (PVA: polyvinyl alcohol) film constituting the polarizing film.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTRICAL STEEL SHEET PRODUCT
A method for manufacturing an electrical steel sheet product according to an exemplary embodiment of the present invention includes: preparing an adhesive coating composition; forming an adhesive coating layer by applying and then curing the adhesive coating composition onto a surface of an electrical steel sheet; forming a heat-fused layer by laminating and heat-fusing a plurality of electrical steel sheets on which the adhesive coating layers are formed; and cooling the heat-fused electrical steel sheets at a cooling rate of 0.05 to 20° C./min.
Two-Component, Water-Based Lamination Adhesive and Use of the Same to Bond Substrates and Foams
A water comprising, two component polyurethane dispersion adhesive comprising an anionic polyester polyurethane resin and a solvent-free liquid aliphatic polyisocyanate cross-linker. The dispersion can be reactivated one or more times for edge bonding a flexible sheet material onto a substrate having a main surface, a peripheral surface and an edge connecting the main surface and the peripheral surface.
Functional laminate using water-based adhesive, method for making such laminate, and lens using such laminate
Disclosed are methods for preparing a laminate incorporable to a surface of an optical lens. A front surface and/or back surface of a photochromic film or a functional film is pre-treated. A second thermoplastic film is then laminated on each pre-treated surface of the photochromic film or functional film using a water-based adhesive. The pre-treatment applied on the surface(s) of the photochromic film or functional film enables the formation of strong adhesion between the second thermoplastic film and the water-based adhesive.
Biodegradable Cork Fabric
The present invention relates to a fabric comprising three superimposed layers, wherein the first layer is a textile, the second layer is an adhesive and the third layer comprises cork, the fabric being characterised in that the adhesive is a biodegradable water-based adhesive containing at least one polymer. The invention further relates to the method for obtaining said fabric, to the use thereof in the production of objects, as well as to said objects as such.
Systems and methods for laminating can end stock
Improved aluminum can end stock (CES) is disclosed. The CES includes an adhered polymer coating exhibiting low feathering and high performance in various acid tests. The low feathering and resistance to acid tests is accomplished by incorporating a copolymer adhesion promoter film to an aluminum alloy before lamination. In some cases, the metal strip is pretreated with a conversion layer, which can include compounds of trivalent chromium (Cr(III)) and phosphates or titanium and zirconium.
STRONG BASE-ASSISTED DIRECT BONDING METHOD
A direct bonding method between two substrates includes the steps of: providing a first substrate and a second substrate respectively including a first hydrophilic bonding surface and a second hydrophilic bonding surface; depositing on the first and/or on the second hydrophilic bonding surface a basic solution consisting of strong base molecules and deionized water; drying the first and/or the second hydrophilic bonding surface until a concentration with between approximately 10.sup.9 atom/cm.sup.2 and 10.sup.15 atom/cm.sup.2 of cations resulting from the strong base molecules on the first and/or on the second hydrophilic bonding surface; contacting the first and the second hydrophilic bonding surface so as to obtain a spontaneous direct bonding and an assembly of the first substrate with the second substrate including a direct bonding interface.
Biodegradable eco-friendly material and manufacturing method there
Provided are a biodegradable eco-friendly material and a manufacturing method thereof. The biodegradable eco-friendly material includes a biodegradable base fabric into which paper mulberry yarn and cotton yarn are mixed and woven, a leather layer made of a biodegradable material attached to one side of the base fabric, and a coating layer attached to the other side of the base fabric. Here, the base fabric may be woven in a state where 74 to 76 parts by weight of the cotton yarn and 24 to 26 parts by weight of the paper mulberry yarn are mixed.
