Method of manufacturing a timber composite, the timber composite obtained and decorative panels comprising such timber composite
A decorative panel including a substrate material and a decorative top layer, wherein the decorative top layer includes at least one timber layer with a wood structure, wherein the timber layer is a compressed timber layer with naturally occurring vessels throughout a thickness of the wood structure, the vessels being collapsed.
METHOD TO PRODUCE A PANEL UNIT AND A PANEL
A method to produce a panel unit, including providing a core having a first surface and a second surface opposite the first surface, applying a surface layer to the first surface of the core, the surface layer including a wood veneer layer and a first binder layer for adhering the wood veneer layer to the first surface of the core, applying a balancing layer to a second surface of the core, the balancing layer including an unimpregnated paper and a second binder layer for adhering the unimpregnated paper to the second surface of the core, applying pressure to the surface layer, the balancing layer, and the core to form a panel unit. The disclosure also relates to a panel.
ADHESIVE SHEET AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING DISPLAY DEVICE USING THE SAME
An adhesive sheet including a first release film, a second release film disposed on the first release film, and an adhesive layer disposed between the first release film and the second release film, the adhesive layer including an upper surface facing the second release film, a lower surface facing the first release film, and a side surface extending from an edge of the lower surface to an edge of the upper surface. The side surface of the adhesive layer may be inclined with respect to a direction perpendicular to the upper surface and the lower surface.
REFORMABLE EPOXY RESIN FOR COMPOSITES
The present invention contemplates a method for forming a composite structure including a plurality of rigid layers and one or more reformable epoxy resin layers. The resulting composite is molded to form a non-planar composite structure.
ADHESIVE DISPENSING SYSTEM WITH CONVERTIBLE NOZZLE ASSEMBLIES
An adhesive dispensing system for applying liquid adhesive to a substrate using different nozzles with the same manifold is disclosed. The adhesive dispensing system includes a manifold having a body, a first clamp configured to engage the body of the manifold, a second clamp configured to engage the body of the manifold, and a nozzle. The first and second clamps secure the nozzle to the body of the manifold. The body of the manifold has a first contact surface that engages the first clamp and a second contact surface that engages the second clamp and the nozzle, where the second contact surface is angularly offset from the first contact surface.
DOUBLE-SIDED OPTICALLY CLEAR ADHESIVE AND MULTILAYER STRUCTURE INCLUDING THE SAME
A double-sided optically clear adhesive is provided. The double-sided optically clear adhesive includes a first adhesive layer and a second adhesive layer. The first adhesive layer includes a first resin and a first thermal-crosslinking agent. The first resin includes a hydroxyl group. The first thermal-crosslinking agent includes a first group. The second adhesive layer includes a second resin and a second thermal-crosslinking agent. The second resin includes a hydroxyl group. The second thermal-crosslinking agent includes a second group. The ratio of the equivalent number of the first group of the first thermal-crosslinking agent to the equivalent number of the hydroxyl group of the first resin is represented by r1. The ratio of the equivalent number of the second group of the second thermal-crosslinking agent to the equivalent number of the hydroxyl group of the second resin is represented by r2, wherein r1<r2≤0.8 and r2−r1≤0.025.
Siloxane tackifying resin layers as adhesion promotion agents
Layers of siloxane tackifying resins that do not contain siloxane fluids, gums or polymers act as adhesion promotion agents. Articles include a substrate layer, a non-tacky siloxane tackifying resin adhesion promotion layer disposed on the surface of the substrate layer, and a crosslinked siloxane layer in contact with the adhesion promotion layer. The crosslinked siloxane layer is not an adhesive layer. The adhesion of the crosslinked siloxane layer to the substrate is greater than the adhesion without the non-tacky siloxane tackifying adhesion promotion layer.
Pet resistant engineered hardwood floor and method of making
A floor plank having a rigid, composite core having an upper side and a underside, the core being thermally stable and formed of PVC and calcium carbonate material that does not include ortho-phthalates, a wood veneer having a lower surface on the upper side of the core and further including an exposed surface, a protective coating on the exposed surface of the wood veneer, the protective coating formed of catalyzed polyurethane having aluminum oxide particles, and a thermo-acoustic cushion coating on the back surface of the core. A method of making is also provided.
AN AQUEOUS TWO-COMPONENT ADHESIVE
The invention relates to an aqueous two-component adhesive and use thereof, in particular to the use for laminating a rigid substrate and a plastic film, a laminated product comprising the adhesive, and a method for producing a laminated product. The aqueous two-component adhesive comprises component A and component B, the component A comprising more than 50% by weight and not more than 99% by weight of an aqueous polyurethane dispersion; the B component comprising 1% by weight to 16% by weight of water-dispersible modified polyisocyanate based on hexamethylene diisocyanate, the above weight percentage based on the amount of the adhesive being 100% by weight; wherein the aqueous polyurethane dispersion comprises polyurethane dispersed therein, the enthalpy of melting of the polyurethane being 26 to 100 J/g, preferably 30 to 100 J/g, particularly preferably 30 to 60 J/g, measured at 20° C. to 100° C. for the first heating curve by DSC according to DIN65467 (1999). The aqueous two-component adhesive has the advantages of safety and environmental protection, excellent performance and low laminating temperature.
