Lens module, method of manufacturing the same, and camera module including the same
A lens module may include a lens inserted into a lens barrel. One surface of the lens facing one surface of the lens barrel in an optical axis direction may be disposed in a stress-free state, and the lens is movable relative to the lens barrel to allow optical axes of lenses to be aligned with each other.
Golf club head
A golf club head has a main body and a front recess that includes a flange. A rear portion of the main body includes a perimeter-weighting element. A striking face insert is secured within the front recess. A face center is located on the front surface of the striking face insert. A rear cavity is at least partially delimited by the perimeter-weighting element and a rear surface of the striking face insert. A rear insert is secured to the rear surface of the striking face insert. In an imaginary horizontal plane passing through a portion of the rear insert, proximate a heel portion of the club head, a heelwardmost point of the rear insert is spaced further from a vertical center plane than a minimum distance between the flange and the center plane. The club head comprises an auxiliary recess that extends outward from the rear cavity.
OPTICAL DEFLECTION DIFFUSION SHEET, LAMINATED OPTICAL DEFLECTION DIFFUSION SHEET, LAMINATED OPTICAL SHEET, AND LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY DEVICE USING SAME
A light deflection diffusion sheet, a stacked light deflection diffusion sheet, and a stacked optical sheet that are used in a liquid crystal panel are disclosed. A liquid crystal display (LCD) device include a liquid crystal panel having a length direction and a width direction; a surface light emitting module; a base sheet disposed between the liquid crystal panel and the surface light emitting module; a light diffusion layer disposed on a surface of the base sheet facing the surface light emitting module and diffusing light incident from the surface light emitting module; and a light deflection layer disposed on a surface of the base sheet facing the liquid crystal panel and controlling a travel direction of the light.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO COUPLE A DECORATIVE COMPOSITE HAVING A REINFORCING LAYER TO A PANEL
Methods and apparatus to couple a decorative composite having a reinforcing layer to a panel are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a decorative layer and a first reinforcing layer coupled to the decorative layer. The example apparatus includes a coil reduction layer that is to apply a force to the first reinforcing layer to reduce coiling of the first reinforcing layer. The example apparatus includes an adhesive layer applied to the coil reduction layer that is coupled to the first reinforcing layer to enable the decorative layer to be coupled to a panel. A rigidity of the first reinforcing layer is to enable the first reinforcing layer to distribute a force exerted by at least one of gas or vapor disposed between the first reinforcing layer and the decorative layer to impede separation of a portion of the decorative layer from the panel.
METHODS AND APPARATUS TO COUPLE A DECORATIVE LAYER TO A PANEL VIA A HIGH-BOND ADHESIVE LAYER
Methods and apparatus to couple a decorative layer to a panel via a high-bond adhesive layer are disclosed. An example apparatus includes a panel, a high-bond adhesive layer fixed to the panel, a liner fixed to the high-bond adhesive layer that is fixed to the panel, and a first decorative layer removably coupled to the liner that is fixed to the high-bond adhesive layer via a second adhesive layer. The high-bond adhesive layer is to impede at least one of gas or vapor from escaping the panel to deter the at least one of gas or vapor from exerting a pressure on the first decorative layer to deter a portion of the first decorative layer from separating from the panel.
CERAMIC MATRIX COMPOSITE AIRFOIL COOLING
Ceramic matrix composite airfoils for gas turbine engines are provided. In an exemplary embodiment, an airfoil includes opposite pressure and suction sides extending radially along a span. The pressure and suction sides define an outer surface of the airfoil. The airfoil further includes opposite leading and trailing edges extending radially along the span, the pressure and suction sides extending axially between the leading and trailing edges. The airfoil also includes a filler pack defining the trailing edge; the filler pack comprises a ceramic matrix composite material. Moreover, the airfoil includes a plenum defined within the airfoil for receiving a flow of cooling fluid, and a cooling passage defined within the filler pack for directing the flow of cooling fluid from the plenum to the outer surface of the airfoil. Methods for forming airfoils for gas turbine engines also are provided.
CERAMIC MATRIX COMPOSITE AIRFOIL COOLING
Airfoils for gas turbine engines are provided. In one embodiment, an airfoil formed from a ceramic matrix composite material includes opposite pressure and suction sides extending radially along a span and defining an outer surface of the airfoil. The airfoil also includes opposite leading and trailing edges extending radially along the span. The pressure and suction sides extend axially between the leading and trailing edges. The leading edge defines a forward end of the airfoil, and the trailing edge defining an aft end of the airfoil. Further, the airfoil includes a trailing edge portion defined adjacent the trailing edge at the aft end of the airfoil; a plenum defined within the airfoil forward of the trailing edge portion; and a cooling passage defined within the trailing edge portion proximate the suction side. Methods for forming airfoils for gas turbine engines also are provided.
Sheet processing device, sheet laminator, image forming apparatus, and image forming system
A sheet processing device sandwiches a sheet-shaped medium in a two-ply sheet in which two sheets are overlaid and partially bonded. The sheet processing device includes a separator, a conveyor, and a switching member. The separator separates the two sheets of the two-ply sheet. The conveyor is disposed downstream from the separator in a sheet conveyance direction and conveys the two-ply sheet. The switching member is disposed downstream from the conveyor in the sheet conveyance direction. The switching member switches a conveyance path of the two-ply sheet to convey the two-ply sheet to a fixing path on which fixing processing is performed on the two-ply sheet or a non-fixing path on which no fixing processing is performed on the two-ply sheet.
Medical constructs including tubes and collagen fibers
Medical constructs with collagen fibers and gelatin and related collagen fibers. The collagen fibers can be derived from extruded soluble dermal collagen and can include a gelatin film attached to the at least one collagen fiber. The gelatin film can include one or more minerals and has a gelatin concentration of between about 0.1% to about 40% weight per volume.
