Nonwoven fabrics having liquid barrier properties are provided. The nonwoven fabrics may include one or more nonwoven layers, in which one or more of the nonwoven layers may include a liquid-barrier-enhancing-additive (LBEA) comprising an amide. The nonwoven fabrics may be suitable for use in a wide variety of liquid barrier applications, including facemasks, surgical gowns, surgical drapes, lab coats, and barrier components of absorbent articles (e.g., barrier leg cuffs).

The controller is configured to mount a wafer frame, by using the tape feeding unit, on a wafer of a wafer assembly on the upper surface of the platform. The wafer assembly includes the wafer, a carrier, and a layer of wax between the wafer and the carrier. The controller is also configured to heat the upper surface of the platform to a predetermined temperature and separate, by the first robot arm, the wafer and the wafer frame mounted thereon from the carrier.

At least one outer layer of the metal sheet layers comprises at least two separate metal sheets that overlap with each other along their respective commonly adjoining edges, providing an overlapping joint of the two separate metal sheets. The at least one fiber reinforced adhesive layer comprises fiber elements embedded in a matrix structure. One of the at least one fiber reinforced adhesive layers is arranged between two adjacent metal sheet layers. Further, the at least one cover segment is arranged on an outside surface of the laminate structure, the cover segment covering a region of the overlapping joint. Still further, the at least one cover segment comprises at least one layer of reinforcement fibers.

Method for laminating a tubular film
The invention refers to a method for laminating a tubular film (1) preferably manufactured by means of blown film (co-) extrusion with a material capable of absorbing resin or liquids, wherein the tubular film (1) is laminated over its entire perimeter with several layers (10, 11, 12, 13; 20, 21, 22; 30, 31) overlapping or positioned directly opposite one another on their front sides containing material capable of absorbing resin or liquids, so that essentially there are no areas left along the perimeter of the tubular film (1) not covered by the laminated layers (10, 11, 12, 13; 20, 21, 22; 30, 31). The invention also refers to a tubular film laminated in such a way and to various applications.

The method may include: combining a binding agent with plastic flakes; passing the plastic flakes and the binding agent to a lamination machine; applying a force to the binding agent and the plastic flakes using the lamination machine to create a plastic sheet; cutting the plastic sheet; and adding an acoustic insulator to at least a first side of the plastic sheet.
