MULTILAYER STRUCTURE

The present invention deals with a multilayer structure comprising a first polyethylene layer as a first external layer. The first polyethylene layer is oriented in at least machine direction. The structure also comprises a second polyethylene layer as a second external layer. It further comprises a layer made of a copolymer of ethylene and vinyl alcohol (EVOH) between the first external layer and the second external layer and a tie layer on each side EVOH layer. Furthermore, the tie layers comprise one or more copolymers of ethylene.

A method for the production of an elastic laminate, comprising the following steps in a same production line: to coextrude a first web of elastic film (F) with at least three layers (F1, F2, F1), comprising at least two different polymer materials, to feed contemporaneously said coextruded first elastic film (F) web and two second nonwoven webs (T1, T2) to a thermal, binding calender (14), wherein the first elastic film web is arranged between said two second nonwoven webs when entering the calender; wherein said first elastic film web, during the movement from the coextrusion step to the thermal binding step, passes from a melted state, in the coextrusion step, to a solidified and cold state when entering the calender, to join, through spot welding in said calender, said second nonwoven webs with respective opposite outer layers of said first elastic film web, thus producing an intermediate web (P1), to stretch mechanically said intermediate web according to a direction transverse to the same web.

A multilayered stretched polyamide film which is biaxially stretched, and comprises three layers composed of a polyamide resin composition and comprising layer B as an easily adhesive layer, layer A as a base layer, and layer C as an easily slippery layer in this order, wherein the film satisfies the following (1) to (4); (1) the layer A contains 50 to 90% by mass of polyamide 6 and 10 to 50% by mass of a polyamide 6 copolymer in which a ratio of a copolymerization component in the copolymer is 3 to 35% by mass; (2) the layer B contains 0 to 40% by mass of polyamide 6 and 60 to 100% by mass of the polyamide 6 copolymer in which a ratio of the copolymerization component in the copolymer is 3 to 35% by mass; (3) the layer C contains 70% by mass or more of polyamide 6 and 0.05 to 1% by mass of fine particles having an average diameter of 0.1 to 10 μm; (4) the film has tensile strength at break of 150 MPa or more both in MD direction and TD direction; and (5) the film has laminate strength of 3.3 N/15 mm or more.

BI-DIRECTIONALLY ORIENTED POLYETHYLENE FILM

The present invention relates to a film comprising one or more layers, wherein at least one layer consists of a polymer formulation (A) comprising: (c) ≥60.0 and ≤90.0 wt % of a linear low-density polyethylene; and (d) ≥10.0 and ≤40.0 wt % of a high-density polyethylene with regard to the total weight of that layer of the film, wherein the film is a bi-directionally oriented film wherein the orientation is introduced in the solid state. Such film has improved tensile properties, such as demonstrated by improved tensile modulus in both machine direction as well as in transverse direction, and improved tensile strength, also in both machine direction and in transverse direction. Such film also has desirable optical properties and impact properties, and has good thermal resilience. Furthermore, by that components (a) and (b) are both polymers of the polyethylene family, the film has good recyclability properties.
