Method and Device for Separating Workpiece Consisting of Carrier Substrate and Resin Layer
A separation method allows a carrier substrate and a resin layer to be separated without, for example, breaking the resin layer for use in a final product, such that the resin layer can be rendered easy to handle thereafter. A protection step coats the surface of a resin layer with a protective film. A holding-by-suction step retains by suction the coated resin layer on a suction stage with a flat suction surface. After the back surface of the carrier substrate is supported at or near a first end by a support roller capable of moving from the first end to a second end of the carrier substrate, a peeling step lowers the first end of the carrier substrate while moving the support roller toward the second end, thereby peeling the carrier substrate from the resin layer while bending the carrier substrate at a portion supported by the support roller.
Methods for processing a substrate
A method of processing a substrate, with a first major surface of the substrate removably bonded to a first major surface of a first carrier and a second major surface of the substrate removably bonded to a first major surface of a second carrier, includes initiating debonding at a first location of an outer peripheral bonded interface between the substrate and the first carrier to separate a portion of the first carrier from the substrate. The method further includes propagating a first debond front from the first debonded location along a first direction extending away from the first debonded location by sequentially applying a plurality of lifting forces to the first carrier at a corresponding plurality of sequential lifting locations of the first carrier.
CNC machine assembly
An assembly for producing cabinet doors including a CNC machine provided with a porous worktable, means for positioning workpieces thereon, means for applying a vacuum to such porous worktable for adhering such workpieces thereto and means for machining such workpieces adhered to such worktable; and means for thermally deforming a thermally pliable foil to laminate such workpiece.
APPLICATION AND FASTENING OF A DEFINED NUMBER OF INDIVIDUAL ELEMENTS TO A SUBSTRATE WEB
The invention relates to a method for applying and attaching a defined number n of individual elements to a defined number m of predefined positions on a surface of a moving substrate web. The invention further relates to a moving substrate web onto which a defined number n of individual elements are to be applied and attached to a defined number m of predefined positions on a surface of a moving substrate web. According to the invention, an adhesive is applied to the surface of the substrate web at each of the predefined positions so that respectively at least one individual element can be attached at respectively one predefined position, and no adhesive is applied outside the predefined positions.
Film-attaching apparatus
A film-attaching apparatus comprising a base, a substrate bearing member configured to bear a substrate and a film bearing member configured to bear a film; the film bearing member is rotatable between a closed position and an open position; the film bearing member at the closed position has a bearing surface in opposite to that of the substrate bearing member such that a first portion of the film is contacted with a first portion of the substrate; and the substrate bearing member is movable in translational motion along a direction of the bearing surface of the substrate bearing member upon the film bearing member being at the closed position such that the bearing surfaces of the substrate bearing member and of the film bearing member are movable with respect to each other to attach a second portion of the film onto a second portion of the substrate.
Label stacking machine and method
A device for stacking a plurality of partially connected labels into a plurality of partially connected pads of labels comprises a robot arm having at least one vacuum source configured to selectively supply a vacuum force. The device also includes a plate coupled to the robot arm and a flexible pad coupled to the plate and including a plurality of apertures configured to direct the majority of the vacuum force through the flexible pad to a surface of the plurality of partially connected labels.
Textured Nonwoven Laminate
A textured laminate that contains a coform nonwoven web formed from a matrix of synthetic fibers and an absorbent material is provided. The coform web is positioned adjacent to a cellular film that includes a plurality of cavities encapsulating a gas (e.g., air). By selectively controlling various aspects of the coform web, film, and the particular manner in which the film and coform web are laminated together, the present inventors have discovered that the resulting laminate can achieve an increased bulk that remains relatively stable even in a wet condition. Thus, the resulting laminate can be readily employed in a wet wipe without losing its bulk and overall texture.
Use of vacuum chucks to hold a wafer or wafer sub-stack
Techniques are described for holding a wafer or wafer sub-stack to facilitate further processing of the wafer of sub-stack. In some implementations, a wafer or wafer sub-stack is held by a vacuum chuck in a manner that can help reduce bending of the wafer or wafer sub-stack.
Analog thermostatic control circuit for a heating pad
A heat mat with thermostatic control having a reference voltage generating source that provide high voltage DC for a power controller and low voltage for a temperature sensor and hysteresis circuit. The sensor and hysteresis circuit establish a temperature threshold signal that is delivered to the resistance heating element. The resistance heating element is sandwiched between two layers of material with adhesive. Two layers of PVC protects the sandwich. In manufacturing the heat mat, the resistance heating element is placed with adhesive between two layers of material then cured and degassed under vacuum. The thermostatic control is sealed within an overmold housing or flat pack.
Membrane bearing device and membrane attaching apparatus
A membrane bearing device, a membrane attaching apparatus and a method for attaching a membrane are provided in embodiments of the disclosure. The membrane bearing device includes: a base plate, comprising a first bearing surface configured to bear a membrane; and a roller, which is rotatably mounted onto the base plate, and is configured to transfer and attach the membrane from the first bearing surface to a substrate onto which the membrane is to be attached, by rolling on the membrane.
