Fiber reinforced metal composite and application thereof
In one aspect, the present invention provides a fiber reinforced metal composite comprising a metal layer and a fiber layer which are arranged in a stack, and adjacent layers are fixed by bonding; the composite has a two-layered or three-layered structure, wherein one layer is closely adhered to another layer and the thickness of the layer is from 0.6 mm˜0.9 mm. Such structure changes the structure of the existing fiber metal composite characterized by generally having more than three layers, and greatly reduces the thickness of the composite while maintaining good mechanical properties. In another aspect, the present invention discloses an application of fiber reinforced metal composite in the field of luggage case manufacturing, provides two preparation methods for providing fiber reinforced metal case shell with simple and available operations.

A display device includes a cover window including a curved portion, and a panel member laminated on the cover window. A method of manufacturing a display device includes mounting a cover window including a curved portion on a first jig including a curved portion, mounting a panel member on a second jig that conforms to a surface of the first jig, and laminating the cover window to the panel member by moving a first one of the first jig or the second jig to a first other one of the first jig or the second jig. An apparatus for manufacturing a display device includes a first jig including a mount surface that is partially curved to conform to a surface of a cover window, a second jig including a surface conforming to the mount surface and configured to contact a panel member, and a driving unit.
WATER REPELLENT FILM FOR CAR SIDE-VIEW MIRROR, AND MOLDING APPARATUS THEREFOR
Proposed is a water-repellent film for an automobile side-view mirror and a press-forming apparatus of the same, and more specifically, a water-repellent film for an automobile side-view mirror and a forming apparatus of the water-repellent film which has good water repellency and can come into close contact with the side-view mirror. The water-repellent film includes: a substrate layer provided to adhere to the side-view mirror; an adhesive layer that is formed under the substrate layer and has adhesion such that the substrate layer adheres to the side-view mirror; and a coating layer that is laminated on the substrate layer.
LAMINATION METHOD FOR SPECIAL-SHAPED GLASS COVER PLATE AND DISPLAY DEVICE
The present invention provides a lamination method for a special-shaped glass cover plate, including following steps. Step S1: forming a magnetic layer on a display panel. Step S2: arranging a first solenoid and a second solenoid at a regular-shaped portion and a special-shaped portion of the special-shaped glass cover plate, respectively. Step S3: supplying opposite electric currents to the first solenoid and the second solenoid. Step S4: changing magnitude of an electric current from the regular-shaped portion to the special-shaped portion. Step S5: when to attach the display panel to the special-shaped portion of the special-shaped glass cover plate, changing magnitude of the electric current of the second solenoid and a direction of the second solenoid to attach the display panel along the special-shaped portion.
GUIDE FILM AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING DISPLAY APPARATUS
A guide film includes a main area, a first subsidiary area, and a second subsidiary area being apart from the first subsidiary area. The main area includes a central area having a rectangular shape in a plan view, a first side area arranged between the central area and the first subsidiary area, a second side area arranged between the central area and the second subsidiary area, and a first corner area connecting the first side area to the second side area.
BONDING DEVICE AND BONDING METHOD
A bonding device includes: a supporting assembly, comprising a first and second supporting bodies arranged in a first direction, at least one of the first and second supporting bodies is movable in the first direction, the supporting assembly having an upper surface which faces a flexible substrate and matches an inner surface of the flexible substrate; and a stretching assembly, including a carrier film and a plurality of driving elements, a central area of the carrier film being attached to the inner surface of the flexible substrate, at least two of the plurality of driving elements arranged oppositely in the first direction, at least two of the plurality of driving elements arranged oppositely in a second direction, the plurality of driving elements are connected to peripheral portions of the carrier film, and stretches the peripheral portions of the carrier film to align the inner surface with the supporting assembly.
VEHICLE INTERIOR SYSTEMS HAVING A CURVED COVER GLASS WITH IMPROVED RELIABILITY AND METHODS FOR FORMING THE SAME
Embodiments of a vehicle interior system are disclosed. In one or more embodiments, the system includes a base with a curved surface, a cold-formed glass substrate with a thickness of 1.5 mm or less and a first radius of curvature of 500 mm or greater, and an adhesive between the curved surface and the glass substrate. Methods for forming such systems are also disclosed. The systems and methods include components and/or design modifications or methods for reducing stress in the adhesive.
ADHERING GLASS COVER SHEET TO A FRAME
Disclosed herein are embodiments of a method of forming a glass article having a glass cover sheet and a frame. The glass cover sheet includes a first major surface and a second major surface in which the second major surface is opposite the first major surface. The frame has a support surface. In the method, a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape is applied to a first region of the glass cover sheet or of the frame. A liquid adhesive is applied to a second region of the glass cover sheet or of the frame. Pressure is applied to the glass cover sheet and the frame to cause the pressure-sensitive adhesive to adhere the glass cover sheet to the frame at a first bond strength. The liquid adhesive is cured to adhere the glass cover sheet to the frame at a second bond strength that is greater than the first bond strength.
