SEALING MATERIAL SHEET FOR SOLAR-CELL MODULE AND SOLAR-CELL MODULE USING THE SAME
To provide a sealing material sheet for a solar-cell module that has high productivity without performing crosslinking processing, and has a high tensile shear adhesion force at normal temperature at a high level in addition to heat resistance and molding characteristics. A sealing material sheet is a multi-layer sheet using a polyethylene-based resin as a base resin, a core layer has a density of 0.880 g/cm.sup.3 to 0.895 g/cm.sup.3 and a melting point of 70° C. or higher, a skin layer has a density of 0.880 g/cm.sup.3 to 0.910 g/cm.sup.3 and a melting point of 90° C. or lower and contains a silane-modified polyethylene-based resin, a weight average molecular weight of the silane-modified polyethylene-based resin contained in the skin layer 11 in terms of polystyrene is 70000 to 120000, and a polymerized silane amount of the skin layer in the whole resin component is 300 ppm to 2000 ppm.
FILMS MADE OF POLYETHYLENE BLENDS FOR IMPROVED BENDING STIFFNESS AND HIGH MD TEAR RESISTANCE
Provided herein are monolayer films, and also multilayer films comprising a core, a subskin disposed on the core, and a skin disposed on the subskin. The films may have an Elmendorf tear in MD greater than about 7.0 g/μm, a dart impact greater than about 6.0 g/μm, and a 1% secant modulus greater than about 200 MPa. In multilayer films, the core comprises a first polyethylene blend comprising an ethylene 1-hexene copolymer and a high density polyethylene composition in an amount between about 0 wt. % and about 40 wt. %. Further provided herein are bags and laminates comprising the present films.
Resin Container and Resin Container Connected Body
The present invention is a resin container having a multilayer structure including a first layer that comes into contact with liquid content and a second layer that is in contact with the first layer from an outer side of the first layer. The first layer includes a cyclic olefin copolymer and a linear low-density polyethylene resin, and the second layer includes a low-density polyethylene resin.
RECYCLABLE PACKAGING FILM AND ARTICLE WITH MECHANICALLY PRE-SLIT CONTROLLED TEAR LINE
A method of forming a flexible packaging film includes providing a first web including a polymer sealant layer, the first web having a first major surface and a second major surface opposite the first major surface. A second web including a polymer outer layer is provided, the second web having a third major surface and a fourth major surface opposite the third major surface. An adhesive layer is applied to the second major surface and the first web is laminated to the third major surface. Prior to laminating the first web to the second web, one or more slits are formed in the second web.
DOUBLE-SIDED ADHESIVE TAPE
Provided is a double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape, which is excellent in initial pressure-sensitive adhesive property to an adherend, is sufficiently elongated, hardly breaks even when sufficiently elongated, can be smoothly pulled and removed from the adherend under an elongated state, and is excellent in reworking properties. The double-sided pressure-sensitive adhesive tape in an embodiment of the present invention includes, in this order: a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (B1); a base material layer (A); and a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (B2), wherein the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (B1) and the pressure-sensitive adhesive layer (B2) each contain at least one kind selected from the group consisting of: an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive; and a rubber-based pressure-sensitive adhesive, and the acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive contains a filler, wherein the base material layer (A) contains, as a resin component, at least one kind selected from the group consisting of: polyolefin; thermoplastic polyurethane; and a styrene-based polymer.
Polyolefin resin composition, molded article, and outer panel for a vehicle
A polyolefin resin composition, containing: a polyolefin resin; and cellulose microfibrils, in which a content of the cellulose microfibrils is 0.5 to 20 parts by mass, with respect to 100 parts by mass of an entire resin component in the polyolefin resin composition, a molded article and a back door for a vehicle.
Functional tie-layer formulations in biaxially oriented films containing HDPE
Disclosed are compositions and methods for multilayer films, which, in one embodiment may comprise a core layer comprising at least 50 wt. % of high-density polyethylene. Further, the multilayer film may include a first skin layer consisting essentially of one or more ethylene-propylene copolymers. Further still, the multilayer film may include a second skin layer consisting essentially of one or more ethylene-propylene-butylene terpolymers. And yet further, the multilayer film may be oriented in at least one direction, and at least two layers of the multilayer film are coextruded.
Breathable diaper backsheet
A breathable thermoplastic polymer film may be produced and adapted for use as a breathable diaper backsheet. The film may include a blend of LLDPE, mLLDPE and calcium carbonate, and may have improved tear strength and melt strength such that instances of tears or break offs during the machine direction orientation portion of the production process are significantly reduced or eliminated. In addition, the film may have sufficient tear strength to permit omission of CDI processing needed to strengthen weaker prior art films. In this regard, undesired streaking of colors or printed aspects of the film may be reduced or avoided completely.
