Recyclable PET film
The present invention relates to a multilayer, coextruded polyester film including at least one outer layer (A) and a base layer (B), in which the at least one outer layer (A) includes, to an extent of at least 60 wt %, a polyester or a copolyester formed from units derived from aliphatic dicarboxylic acids and diols, wherein the units derived from dicarboxylic acids are selected from one or more dicarboxylic acids from the group of succinic acid, adipic acid, suberic acid, azelaic acid and sebacic acid, and the units derived from diols are selected from one or more diols from the group of ethylene glycol, 1,3-propanediol, 1,4-butanediol and neopentyl glycol.
The present invention further relates to a process for producing the film according to the invention, to the use thereof and to a process for recycling the polyester film according to the invention.
POLYMERIC FILM TUBE
A tube comprising a first channel and a second channel wherein each of said first and second channels extends along the longitudinal axis of said tube, and wherein said tube is constituted by a first heat-sealable polymeric film A and a second heat-sealable polymeric film B. Said polymeric films A and B each have a first surface (A1, B1) and a second heat-sealable surface (A2, B2) respectively. Polymeric films A and B are disposed such that said heat-sealable surfaces A2 and B2 are in contact with and adhered to each other by heat-seal bonds which do not extend across the full surface area of said heat-sealable surfaces A2 and B2. Also described are methods of making the tube, a kit comprising a plurality of polymeric films for forming the tube, and methods for using the tube in the delivery of injectable chemicals.
THERMOFORM WINDSHIELD STACK WITH INTEGRATED FORMABLE MOLD
A method of installing a stack of two or more lenses on a curved substrate includes placing a moldable covering on a curved substrate, the moldable covering including a stack of two or more lenses, an adhesive layer interposed between each pair of adjacent lenses from among the two or more lenses, and a sacrificial layer disposed on an outermost lens of the stack, the sacrificial layer including a sacrificial lens and a sacrificial adhesive interposed between the sacrificial lens and the outermost lens of the stack. The method may include applying heat and pressure to the sacrificial layer and peeling off the sacrificial layer to reveal the stack of two or more lenses.
GLASS, GLASS CERAMIC, AND LAMINATED CERAMIC ELECTRONIC COMPONENT
A glass that contains Si, B, Al, and Zn. The glass has SiO.sub.2 at a content of 15% by weight to 65% by weight, B.sub.2O.sub.3 at a content of 11% by weight to 30% by weight, Al.sub.2O.sub.3, and ZnO, wherein a weight ratio of the SiO.sub.2 to the B.sub.2O.sub.3 (SiO.sub.2/B.sub.2O.sub.3) is 1.21 or higher, and a weight ratio of the Al.sub.2O.sub.3 to the ZnO (Al.sub.2O.sub.3/ZnO) is 0.75 to 1.64, and wherein an alkaline-earth metal is excluded as a material contained in the glass.
Speaker
The present disclosure provides a speaker, comprising a vibration system including a speaker diaphragm and a magnetic circuit system cooperating with the vibration system. The speaker diaphragm comprises a thermoplastic polyester elastomer membrane and has a vibration amplitude of 0.25-1 mm, and the speaker has F.sub.0 of 150-1500 Hz. The speaker has the characteristic of good listening effect.
Adhesive mountable stack of removable layers
An eye protector includes a lens configured to protect the wearer from projectiles, and an optically clear stack attached to the lens. The stack can have one or more removable layers. The eye protector also includes an optically clear dry mount adhesive layer attaching the stack to the lens. The dry mount adhesive may be self-wetting to attach the stack to the lens so that air between the stack and the lens can be removed after the stack is attached and/or adhered to the lens, for example, by applying pressure across the surface of the stack. The refractive indices of the lens, the dry mount adhesive, and each removable layer are matched to within about 0.2.
