A non-crosslinked rubber laminate which is a rubber laminate includes a butyl rubber-containing layer stacked with an ethylene propylene diene rubber and/or ethylene propylene rubber-containing layer, wherein such non-crosslinked rubber laminate is characterized in that the ethylene propylene diene rubber and/or ethylene propylene rubber-containing layer is a rubber-containing layer that contains a low-molecular-weight polyolefin, a phenolic resin, and a crosslinking agent, where: the low-molecular-weight polyolefin is contained by 40 to 70 parts by weight, the phenolic resin is contained by 1 to 4 parts by weight, and the crosslinking agent is contained by at least 1 part by weight, relative to the ethylene propylene diene rubber and/or ethylene propylene rubber constituting a total of 100 parts by weight. An air conditioning hose made of the rubber laminate, for example, can accommodate POE-based lubricating oils and retain vibration absorption characteristics.

PROCESS FOR REGENERATING A MONOLITHIC, MACRO-STRUCTURAL, INTER-PENETRATING ELASTOMER NETWORK MORPHOLOGY FROM GROUND TIRE RUBBER PARTICLES

Crumb rubber obtained from recycled tires is subjected to an interlinked substitution process. The process utilizes a reactive component that interferes with sulfur bonds. The resulting treated rubber exhibits properties similar to those of the virgin composite rubber structure prior to being granulated, and is suitable for use in fabricating new tires, engineered rubber articles, and asphalt rubber for use in waterproofing and paving applications.

Organ model

Provided is an organ model having a property such that each layer suitably peels off, a property such that sliding or a sense of catching is present besides a sense of elasticity that is felt when a surgical knife cuts the organ model open, and a property such that ligation can be performed without burying of a suture thread, and a property such that a knot of the thread gets caught on the organ model. An organ model being a laminated body in which plural layers each formed of a hydrogel material are laminated, and one or more of the layers is each a fiber group-containing layer in which fiber groups are approximately continuously present inside the layer and over the plane of the layer.

An article formed in a co-extrusion process comprises a base layer and a first cap layer disposed on the base layer. The base layer is formed from a thermoplastic olefin comprising a thermoplastic polymer, an elastomer, and a base filler. The base layer comprises greater than 15% by weight of the base filler. The first cap layer comprises at least one polyolefin and between 0-15% by weight of a first cap filler. The first cap layer has a thickness less than a thickness of the base layer. The first cap layer is configured to provide an exterior surface of the article resistant to whitening or fading caused by exposure to the ambient environment in comparison to the underlying base layer.

Watercraft with shape chamber

An additional chamber to watercraft that adds both volume and curvature to other compartments or components of the watercraft that are essentially flat is described. The additional chamber provides for modular construction of watercraft for creating volumetric space as well as a curved surface to the outer portion of the watercraft. The chamber advantageously increases the aesthetic appeal of the watercraft as well as provides a surface on which water is discouraged from pooling or collecting on. Various watercrafts having such a chamber are also described.
