TILE WITH IMITATION GROUT LINE
A tile that may be used as a covering on a floor, wall, or other surface comprises a top section, a protective section, a vinyl layer, an optional core layer, and an exposed portion formed along at least one of its sides and structured to represent an imitation but highly realistic looking grout line. The exposed portion may be formed on at least a portion of the top section. The vinyl layer is generally disposed between the top section and the core layer. The vinyl layer generally comprises a solid vinyl material comprising polyvinyl chloride and stone dust. In some embodiments, the exposed portion is also formed across a middle section of the tile, and may further include an interconnecting mechanism to facilitate installation. The exposed portion may also be formed at least one a portion of the top section above the interconnecting mechanism.
FLOORING PANEL EQUIPPED WITH QUICK-RELEASE ADHESIVE SHEET
A flooring panel (50) is provided with a quick-release adhesive sheet (10) such that the flooring panel (50) can be quickly attached to a support surface and removed therefrom. More particularly, the flooring panel (50) includes a top floor layer (52) attached or laminated to the adhesive sheet (10), which underlies the floor layer (52). The top flooring layer (52) can be any type of flooring material, such as vinyl flooring, real or engineered wood flooring, etc. (FIG. 8).
Joint seal system with winged barrier
An integral multilayer joint seal. Layers of foam, layered co-planar to the adjacent surface, are interspersed with a barrier layer which extends beyond the foam layers to provide a protective surface, a surface for attachment atop adjacent substrates, or a connecting tab for use with adjacent joint seals. The foam layers may be uncompressed or partially compressed at the time of joint formation and may be composed of open or closed, or hybrid, cell foam. The foam may be impregnated with a fire retardant or may be composed of a fire retardant material, if desired. The barrier may have a tensile strength greater than the adjacent foam. The joint seal may have an elastomer, such as silicone, at its top and/or bottom, and may even include an elastomer layer within or about the barrier.
Joint seal system with shaped barrier and wings
An expansion joint seal proving a flexible barrier therethrough in a concave shape with a first body of compressible foam on one side and a second body of compressible foam on the other side, where the barrier extends laterally from the first body and second body and may be used to protect the sides of the expansion joint seal or may be used to provide contact on the surface of each adjacent substrate.
Coated membrane composite
A membrane composite comprising an olefinic membrane core having first and second planar surfaces, a first silicone coating layer disposed on the first planar surface, and a second silicone coating layer disposed on the second planar surface.
TREATED SUBSTRATE HAVING HYDROPHOBIC AND DURABILITY PROPERTIES
A treated substrate comprise a substrate, an adhesion promoter layer disposed on the substrate, and a topcoat layer disposed on the adhesion layer such that the adhesion layer is between the topcoat layer and the substrate. The adhesion promoter layer is formed from an adhesion promoter composition, with the adhesion promoter composition comprising a polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxane or a linear organosilane polymer. The topcoat layer is formed from a topcoat composition, with the topcoat composition comprising at least one fluorinated organic silicon compound which contains no etheric oxygen atom and at least one fluorinated organic silicon compound which contains an etheric oxygen atom.
FLOOR PANEL
A floor may include a substrate having a top side and a bottom side. A top layer may be provided on the substrate. The top layer may consist of a printed thermoplastic film and a thermoplastic transparent or translucent layer provided on the printed thermoplastic film. The top layer may be directly adhered to the substrate by heat welding the printed thermoplastic film and the top side of the substrate, in the absence of a glue layer. The substrate may be a synthetic material board including a filler. The substrate at least at two opposite edges may include coupling means provided in the synthetic material board. The thermoplastic transparent or translucent layer may be provided with a structure.
SUBMERSIBLE SENSOR UNIT
As a conventional antifouling measure to prevent adherence of aquatic organisms to a submersible sensor unit, a grease containing a stimulant, such as mustard, capable of repelling aquatic organisms is applied onto a sensing part thereof, thereby preventing adherence of the aquatic organisms. However, the irritant-containing grease applied onto the sensing part will come off within one to two months, resulting in disappearance of its effect. Thus, it is necessary to perform work of pulling up the submersible sensor unit and re-applying the grease, in each case. The present invention provides a water flow resistant submersible sensor unit which comprises an aquatic organism adherence preventive film capable of preventing adherence of aquatic organisms even when used in the submersible sensor unit for about half a year, almost without involving any underwater movement, and capable of, after use, being easily peeled off from the submersible sensor unit.
Multilayer Textile Assembly for Use in Footwear
Here are described multilayer textile assemblies for use in footwear and methods of production thereof. Also described are footwears and boot liners comprising the multilayer textile assemblies.
FOAMED RESIN LAYER AND SYNTHETIC LEATHER
A synthetic leather is lightweight and highly durable to abrasion, and a foamed resin layer can give the synthetic leather. The foamed resin layer includes a poly(vinyl chloride) resin and a thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer. The thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer preferably has a Shore A hardness of 50 to 80. The foamed resin layer preferably has an apparent density of 0.3 to 0.7 g/cm.sup.3. The foamed resin layer preferably has an average cell size of 50 to 250 m.
