LAMINATED GLASS INTERLAYER FILM AND LAMINATED GLASS
Provided is an interlayer film for laminated glass capable of suppressing the change in sound insulating property of laminated glass in a relatively high temperature region. An interlayer film for laminated glass according to the present invention is an interlayer film for laminated glass having a one-layer structure or a two or more-layer structure, and when the interlayer film is sandwiched between two sheets of green glass having a thickness of 2 mm to obtain a laminated glass X with a size of 25 mm long x 300 mm wide, an absolute value of difference between a secondary resonance frequency of the laminated glass X before irradiation with xenon light and a secondary resonance frequency of the laminated glass X after irradiation with xenon light determined by a specific xenon light irradiation test is 70 Hz or less, a loss factor at 20° C. of the laminated glass X is 0.24 or more, and a solar transmittance of the laminated glass X is 50 or less.
Multi-Layer Products
A method of making a multi-layer product or seal is described. An adhesive layer is applied to a surface of a first layer. A patch material is applied to a surface of the adhesive layer, using a coating or spraying process, to define one or more patches. At least the first layer is cut to define pre-formed lines of separation defining one or more first portions. Each first portion is associated with a respective one of the one or more patches.
NANOFIBER ASSEMBLIES WITH MULTIPLE ELECTROCHROMIC STATES
Composite assemblies are described that can be switched from a transparent state to a non transparent state, and in some examples even switched between different colors/reflectivities in the non transparent state. Switching between these states can be initiated by application of an electrical current to Ag carbon nanotube yarns in contact with an electrochromic electrolyte. The carbon nanotube yarns increase the efficiency with which electrons are provided to an electrolyte.
Breathable, wicking nonwoven material
An article including one or more moisture wicking layers and one or more fibrous layers. The fibrous layers may have generally vertically oriented fibers, which may be oriented generally perpendicularly to a surface having or producing moisture. The article may be adapted to remove moisture form the surface having or producing moisture. The article may be breathable. The article may be quick drying. The article may provide cushioning. The article may be a wearable item.
Method of producing resin frame member for fuel cell and processing die
In a method of producing a resin frame member for a fuel cell, a processing die is used. The method includes a processing step of moving an upper die toward a lower die to thereby form an inclined surface on each of side parts of a resin film. In the processing step, shearing is performed while maintaining a predetermined clearance between the lower processing section and the upper processing section and in a state where each of the side parts is at least partially positioned at a cutout so that each of the side parts is inclined downward toward the inside. The cutout is formed by cutting off an edge part of a placement surface that is positioned on the lower processing section side.
POLYETHYLENE BASED LAMINATED FILM STRUCTURE WITH BARRIER PROPERTIES
Laminated film structure comprising at least one first film having a thin ceramic or metal coating, being laminated to a second film and whereby the laminated film structure is based on polyethylene only, i.e. polymers other than polyethylene are substantially absent and whereby the laminated film structure has good barrier properties
DIELECTRIC COMPOSITE WITH REINFORCED ELASTOMER AND INTEGRATED ELECTRODE
The present disclosure is directed to dielectric elastomeric composites that include a retainable processing membrane, an elastomer material, and an electrically conductive material. The elastomer layer may be partially imbibed into the retainable processing membrane. The retainable processing membrane may be porous. The retainable processing membrane is compacted in the transverse direction, machine direction, or in both directions prior to the application of an elastomer material and an electrically conductive material. The compaction of the retainable processing membrane may form structured folds or folded fibrils in the membrane, giving the retainable processing membrane a low modulus and flexibility. In some embodiments, the dielectric composites are positioned in a stacked configuration. Alternatively, the dielectric elastomeric composites may have a wound configuration. The dielectric composites have a total thickness less than about 170 .Math.m. The dielectric elastomeric composites may be used, for example, in dielectric elastomer actuators, sensors, and in energy harvesting.
Process For Preventing Organoleptic Degradation In Flexibly-Packaged Sensitive Foods And Packaged Products Thereof
This invention relates to a process for reducing or eliminating organoleptic degradation in organoleptically sensitive foods packaged in flexible packaging, and packaged products thereof. This invention also relates to organoleptic flexible packaging made from polymeric films comprising oxidation-stable and non-migratory polysiloxane as slip additive. The oxidative-stability and non-migratory nature of the polysiloxane slip additive provides an organoleptic flexible packaging that is non-interactive with and inert to the organoleptically sensitive food packaged within, specifically: (1) coffee; (2) beer; (3) water; and (4) wine.
DEHUMIDIFICATION BAG AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREOF
The present invention relates to a dehumidification bag and a preparation method thereof. The dehumidification bag comprises a bag body including a first side sheet and a second side sheet, the side sheet comprises an air-permeability and/or a composite film, wherein at least all or part of at least one side sheet is an air-permeability film; a moisture-proof layer covers the outside of the air-permeability. The dehumidification bag provided by the present invention provides an air-permeability on the bag body, and adopts heat sealing between the outer surface of the air-permeability layer and the moisture-proof layer, so that the air-permeability and the moisture-proof layer are in close contact without moisture absorption, which effectively prevents damage during transportation and storage. In the process, the air-permeability is in contact with the air in the outer bag and the effect of the dehumidifier becomes poor or invalid; by setting the moisture-proof layer to be tearable, when the buyer uses the dehumidification bag, the moisture-proof layer can be torn off, which is convenient and fast.
Energy dissipative tubes, arc-trapping bushings, and kits, systems, and methods incorporating the same
One aspect of the invention provides a system including: a length of energy-dissipative tubing; a first sealing device coupled to a first end of the length of energy-dissipative tubing; and a second sealing device coupled to a second end of the length of energy-dissipative tubing. Exposure to one or more selected from the group consisting of: fault currents or lightning strikes at an exposure point along the length of energy-dissipative tubing will produce arcs at the exposure point and at least one of the first end and the second end.
