Oriented Strand Board
An embodiment method can form an oriented strand board panel. A lay-up has a first surface layer, a second surface layer and a core between the first surface layer and the second surface layer. The first surface layer comprises wood strands with a binding resin that comprises phenolic resin without comprising a pMDI resin and the second surface layer is comprising wood strands with a binding resin that comprises pMDI resin without comprising any phenolic resin. The lay-up is located in a press that includes a first platen facing the first surface layer and a second platen facing the second surface layer. The first surface layer contacts the first platen and the second surface layer contacts a screen. The lay-up is pressed and consolidated to form a consolidated panel having a smooth outer surface of the first surface layer and a rough outer surface of the second surface layer.
Veneered element and method of producing such a veneered element
A method for the generation of a gas mixture comprising carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide and optionally hydrogen for use in hydroformylation plants or in carbonylation plants, including mixing an optional steam with carbon dioxide in the desired molar ratio, feeding the resulting gas to a solid oxide electrolysis cell (SOEC) or an SOEC stack at a sufficient temperature for the cell or cell stack to operate while effecting a partial conversion of carbon dioxide to carbon monoxide and optionally of steam to hydrogen, removing some or all the remaining steam from the raw product gas stream by cooling the raw product gas stream and separating the remaining product gas from a liquid, and using said gas mixture containing CO and CO.sub.2 for liquid phase synthesis reactions utilizing carbon monoxide as one of the reactants while recycling CO.sub.2 to the SOEC or SOEC stack.
PARTITION FOR A COMMERCIAL OR TRANSPORT VEHICLE
A method for producing a partition for the interior of a commercial or transport vehicle for separating a passenger compartment from a cargo compartment. The partition is designed as a multilayer composite component made of a renewable raw material, in particular a wood-based material, which is produced by a forming process in a forming die.
COMPOSITE BOARD AND THE METHOD FOR PRODUCING IT
The present invention provides a composite board and the method for producing it, wherein the composite board includes a base material layer constituting the core part of the composite board; and a wear layer covering and fixed on the base material layer which includes fixings on its both sides, and when at least two composite boards are connected together, the fixings can be coupled with each other to relatively fix the composite boards. The aforementioned method and techniques can enable composite boards to be as rigid and wear-resistant as a tile and moreover, can reduce the time and labor costs required for the installation of the tiles by applying the base material layer in the installation of composite boards.
Floor panel and method for manufacturing floor panels
A floor panel has a substrate and a decorative layer of wood veneer having a thickness of 1 millimeter or less provided on the substrate. The substrate has an average density of more than 750 kilograms per cubic meter. The decorative layer is provided on the substrate by means of a layer on the basis of thermosetting resin situated between the substrate and the decorative layer. A method for manufacturing such floor panels including a structured veneer surface that can be obtained according to the arrangement of the aforementioned floor panel.
Oriented strand board, process for production of an oriented strand board and apparatus for producing an oriented strand board
A novel oriented strand board (OSB) may be provided comprising recycled wood flakes that have been obtained by flaking of recycled wood at least in a core layer. A process may be provided for producing a corresponding oriented strand board. An apparatus may be provided by which the oriented strand board can be produced.
BOARD MATERIAL PROCESSING COMPOSITION, BOARD MATERIAL LAMINATE, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BOARD MATERIAL LAMINATE
To provide a board material processing composition allowing for production of a board material laminate that is non-combustible and is excellent in adhesion performance. In order to solve this problem, a board material processing composition inhibiting combustion of a board material due to heating, comprises: a carbonization promotion component, being inorganic, promoting carbonization of an organic component within the board material at the heating; a chain inhibition component, being inorganic, inhibiting a reaction chain to a neighboring component due to a product of endothermic decomposition generated at the heating; and binder particles, being inorganic and hydrophobic, bonding the organic component within the board material to the carbonization promotion component and the chain inhibition component, wherein the carbonization promotion component includes boric acid, the chain inhibition component includes ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, and the binder particles include silica sand.
Floor, wall, or ceiling panel and method for producing same
A floor, wall, or ceiling panel has a base made of a wood material and an upper veneer. The base and the veneer are hot-pressed together while incorporating a resin layer. During the pressing process, pores, cracks, and/or gaps in the veneer are filled with resin. In particular, the pressing process is carried out such that the veneer is saturated with resin, and the resin can be seen on the surface of the veneer after the pressing process The adhesion of the veneer to the base and the smoothing of the veneer are thus carried out in one operation.
Floorboard
A floorboard, includes a carrier plate and a veneer arranged on a topside of the carrier plate, wherein the carrier plate and the veneer are connected with each other via a resin, wherein an edge strip made of the resin is provided on at least two side margins of the veneer, and wherein a surface of the edge strip extends in a same plane as a surface of the veneer.
Process for Producing a Laminate for a Floor Covering
A method for producing a laminate (1), preferably for a floor covering, wherein the laminate (1) has a decorative layer and a wear layer made of polyurethane, includes the following steps: applying a first liquid polyurethane material (12) on a release layer (11) to form the wear layer, inserting a decorative sheet (14) into the first polyurethane material (12), applying a second liquid polyurethane material (17) on the decorative sheet (14), which is impregnated with the first polyurethane material (12) and with the second polyurethane material (17), supplying heat energy for curing the first polyurethane material (12) and the second polyurethane material (17), and separating the release layer (11) from the wear layer, wherein the heat energy is supplied to the first polyurethane material (12) and the second polyurethane material (17) from below through the release layer.
