SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONSTRUCTING NOISE REDUCING SURFACES
Systems and methods are disclosed for a multi-layered sound absorption structure. The multi-layered sound absorption structure may include a form material, an acoustic material disposed on a surface of the form material, and a construction material disposed on the acoustic material. The acoustic material may couple to the construction material during curing of the construction material. After the construction material is cured, the form material may be removed exposing a least a portion of the acoustic material.
BUILDING PANELS, ASSEMBLIES, AND ASSOCIATED METHODS
Building panels, assemblies of building panels, and associated methods are provided. A building panel includes a structural core, such as a set gypsum core, at least one filamentous scrim associated with the core, and a nonwoven mat facer.
Wall panel
A wall panel may have a rigid layer, a first insulation layer made from a two-part rigid urethane pour foam, and a second insulation layer made from a phase change material. The first insulation layer may be chemically bonded to the rigid layer and may also be bonded to the phase change layer. The first insulation layer may be positioned between the second insulation layer and the rigid layer. The rigid layer may be a finished surface or a veneer layer may be applied to the rigid layer.
Panel
A panel and a method of making a panel are provided. The panel comprises a cured polymeric foam layer that is formed by application of a foam composition to an edge surface of the panel and then shaped and cured. The panel comprises man-made vitreous fibre or wood wool cement.

The first insulation layer may be chemically bonded to the rigid layer and may also be bonded to the phase change layer. GYPSUM PANELS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
Gypsum panels and methods of making gypsum panels are provided. Methods of making gypsum panels include: depositing a first gypsum slurry onto a first surface of a first fiberglass mat; allowing the first gypsum slurry to set to form at least a portion of a gypsum core; and applying a substantially continuous barrier coating comprising a polymer binder to a second surface, opposite the first surface, of the first fiberglass mat, in an amount of from about 1 lb/MSF to about 40 lb/MSF, such that the substantially continuous barrier coating has an average thickness of from about 1 micron to about 100 microns, wherein the substantially continuous barrier coating eliminates at least 99 percent of pin holes present in the exposed second surface of the first fiberglass mat.
Sound absorption panel
An acoustic sound absorptive panel or block is provided that is made from a plurality of materials and volumes selected such that each discrete volume of material has a sufficiently different sound absorption profile, resulting in a system that provides better overall sound absorption of traffic noise from motorways and railways in a practical and cost-efficient manner.
Separating membrane with improved adhesion and process for obtaining it
Separating membrane of plastic material, made up of a bossed and waterproof sheet which is coupled with a permeable base layer. The bosses are of the cylindrical type with a double diameter and have such a shape and arrangement as to feature improved adhesion on both faces. The gripping of the adhesive is increased in order to obtain greater tear strength, on the upper face, and at the same time increases the area of contact with the base layer for a greater resistance to delamination on the lower face. In particular, inside each chamber there is an internal crown, which divides it like a necking into two superimposed compartments having the same diameter, wherein the first compartment has a depth amounting to at least ⅓ of the total. A production process for obtaining the membrane is also disclosed.
MISSLE IMPACT RESISTANT EXTERIOR SHEATHING BUILDING PANEL
An impact resistant exterior sheathing gypsum building panel with an integrated impact resistant woven mesh which protects against impact from projectiles such as those conveyed by hurricane force winds is provided. Methods for manufacturing these exterior sheathing gypsum building panels with an integrated impact resistant woven mesh are also provided. An exterior sheathing system employing the exterior sheathing cementitious building panel is provided.
Plaster-based acoustic board
A plaster-based board includes a core made of plaster positioned between two coating layers, in which a textile including glass fibers and an organic binder constitutes at least one of the coating layers and/or the textile is embedded in the plaster constituting the core. In the textile, the binder includes one or more organic polymers having a glass transition temperature which varies from −10 to +25° C., measured by differential scanning calorimetry according to the standard ISO 11357-1:2009.
