MULTILAYER FILM FOR APPLYING LABELS ON ITEMS OF CLOTHING
A multilayer film (8) for applying a label (4) to a fabric support (2) by hot pressing includes a lower layer (8a), a barrier layer (8b) and an upper layer (8c). The lower layer (8a) is substantially made of copolyamide, the barrier layer (8b) is substantially made of EVOH, and the upper layer (8c) is substantially made of copolyamide. The film is particularly effective for limiting the migration of pigments from the fabric to the label.
SELF-REINFORCED POLYMER STRUCTURES
A self-reinforced polymer adhered to a textile.
Stretchable laminates
The present invention provides stretchable laminates with a flat appearance on the visible surface. The laminates comprise a textile layer, a functional layer, and a plurality of elastic fibers. The plurality of elastic fibers are in a substantially parallel arrangement and the internal distance between adjacent fibers does not exceed the maximum fiber spacing, which depends on laminate thickness in a stretched state. Also provided are garments and footwear comprising the stretchable laminates and methods of producing the stretchable laminates.
Laminate foam and methods of making laminate foam
A method of making laminate foam material is provided. The laminate foam material includes a layer of non-foam material sandwiched between two layers of foam material. The non-foam material is bonded to the foam material, such as with a bonding agent and/or by heating respective surfaces of the foam material until the surface softens or melts. When a heating process is utilized, the non-foam material is pressed against the softened or melted foam material. As the foam material begins to cool, the non-foam material becomes bonded to the foam material. The non-foam material is narrower than the foam material and is positioned relative to the foam material such that the edges of the non-foam material are concealed by the foam material. Foam products, such as foam mats, can be formed from the laminate foam material by cutting across the width of the foam material.
Roofing underlayment with hydrophobic nonwoven core
A roofing underlayment includes a hydrophobic nonwoven core layer that provides enhanced resistance to water infiltration. In addition to the hydrophobic nonwoven core layer, the roofing underlayment includes a coating layer adhered to a surface of the hydrophobic nonwoven core layer, and an exterior surface layer adhered to the coating layer. A roofing system that includes the roofing underlayment is also provided.
ABSORBENT ARTICLES AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A one-ply absorbent article comprising a nonwoven first layer; a non-woven third layer; a nonwoven second layer between the first layer and the third layer; and wherein the one-ply absorbent article has a first absorbency measure at a first delamination state and a second absorbency measure at a second delamination state, wherein the first absorbency measure is less than the second absorbency measure and the first delamination state is less than the second delamination state.
ELASTIC FILM LAMINATES WITH FILM MADE IN A CALENDARING PROCESS
Disclosed is a process for creating an elastic film or sheet by calendaring a composition, including a polymer and a fabric. The composition may include a polymer, a cotton, or a combination of both. The calendared composition can form tough, flexible films and sheets. The film and sheet can have optical and physical properties that make them suitable as a replacement for some PVC films. Also disclosed is a composition for calendaring including a fabric and a polymer.
Protective material having catalytic and/or reactive properties and the production and use of same
The invention relates to a catalytic and/or reactive unit, preferably in the form of a protective material with catalytic and/or reactive properties, particularly with the function of protecting from chemical and/or biological harmful and/or poisonous substances, preferably in the form of a textile protective filter material, as well as a method for producing same. The catalytic and/or reactive unit is particularly suitable for producing protective equipments and/or protective objects, and filter and filter materials of all types.
Vehicle headliner and production method thereof
The vehicle headliner includes a base layer, a skin layer disposed on one side of the base layer, and an infrared reflecting layer and a protection layer, in this order, disposed on the other side of the base layer. The base layer contains thermoplastic resin and fiber. The protection layer is a non-stretched resin layer containing a thermoplastic resin having a melting point of 200° C. or more.
Scrim-reinforced cushion mat for carpet tiles
A carpet tile includes a textile top member and a cushion mat that is coupled with the textile top member via a thermoplastic material. The textile top member includes carpet yarns and a backing that is coupled with the carpet yarns so that the backing structurally supports the carpet yarns. The cushion mat includes a polymeric material component having polymer fibers that are randomly oriented and entangled together and a scrim reinforcement that is disposed within the polymeric material component. The scrim reinforcement reinforces and stabilizes the polymeric material component and is entirely covered and concealed by the intermeshed polymer fibers.
