Treatment of pelvic floor disorders using targeted lower limb nerve stimulation
Methods and systems for improving nerve stimulation are disclosed which relate to shaping characteristics of the stimulation field such as by using different geometries and locations of stimulation. In embodiments, systems and methods are provided to improve selective modulation of specific targeted neural substrate, while minimizing the activation of adjacent non-targeted nervous tissue. While aspects of the disclosed technologies can be applied to any part of the central and peripheral nervous systems for treatment various disorders and providing symptom relief to provide for therapy related to pelvic floor disorders such as overactive bladder.
Needle tip for application of current, hand piece, and skin treatment apparatus
The inventive concept relates to a needle tip for application of current, a hand piece, and a skin treatment apparatus that are equipped with a needle in which an electromagnetically-energized active region is formed as a partial region other than a tip end of the needle is exposed in a non-insulated state.
High voltage, high efficiency sine wave generator that prevents spikes during amplitude adjustments and switching of channels
This application describes a variety of approaches for generating high voltage sinusoidal signals whose output voltage can be adjusted rapidly, without introducing high-frequency artifacts on the output. When these approaches are used, stronger electric fields can be applied to the tumor for a higher percentage of time, which can increase the efficacy of TTFields therapy. In some embodiments, this is accomplished by preventing adjustments to a DC power source during times when the output of that DC power source is powering the output signal. In some embodiments, this is accomplished by synchronizing the operation of an AC voltage generator and an electronic switch that is connected to the output of the AC voltage generator.

Biofield apparatus
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a biofield apparatus. The apparatus includes a first vial and a second vial configured to hold fluid for storing biofield information associated with a subject. The apparatus includes an input plate and an output plate. The input plate and the output plate include an input plate vial well and an output plate vial well, respectively. The apparatus includes a control unit configured to provide a first signal to the input plate for capturing the biofield information from the subject. The control unit encodes and transmits the biofield information captured from the subject, to the fluid within the first vial. Further, the control unit amplifies the biofield information within the first vial based on a target amplification level. The control unit transmits the biofield information from the fluid within the second vial to the subject for enhancing the biofield information and properties of the subject.
MULTI-COIL WIRELESS POWER TRANSFER ASSEMBLY FOR WIRELESS GLAUCOMA THERAPY
Systems and methods for wireless stimulation of biological tissue (e.g. nerves, muscle tissue, etc.) and, in one exemplary implementation, to therapy for glaucoma based on the wireless administration of energy to the eye of a mammalian subject (e.g. human, rodent, etc.) to reduce an elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) involving the use of a multi-coil wireless power transfer assembly. The multi-coil wireless power transfer assembly may be used alone or in combination with a stimulation coil that can be implanted in the eye of a mammalian subject or within a contact lens worn by a mammalian subject.
