COMPOSITE MATERIAL

Composite materials used as fire protection panels.

Fiber-reinforced composite material and method for manufacturing same

An object of the present invention is to develop and provide a fiber-reinforced composite material having an “elongation” feature in addition to a high strength and a high elastic modulus. Further, an object of the present invention is to address problems of brittleness and peeling in the conventional fiber-reinforced composite materials. A fiber-reinforced composite material containing the bagworm silk thread as reinforcing fibers is provided.

Thermal barrier material for a rechargeable electrical energy storage system

A multilayer material for use as a thermal insulation barrier and/or flame barrier in a rechargeable electrical energy storage system is provided. The multilayer material comprises at least one inorganic fabric layer bonded to a nonwoven layer comprising inorganic particles and inorganic fibers by an inorganic adhesive, wherein the inorganic adhesive. The inorganic adhesive can be a modified inorganic adhesive comprising at least 99 wt. % inorganic constituents and an organic additive of at least 0.01 wt. % and less than 1 wt. % based on a total solids content of the inorganic adhesive.

Multilayer film and method of making the same

A multilayer film comprises first, second, and third layers. The first layer comprises at least one aromatic polyester, and has a loss modulus at 1 hertz and 25° C. of at least 70 megapascals. The second layer is thermoplastic and has a loss modulus at 1 hertz and 25° C. of less than or equal to 60 megapascals and comprises a thermoplastic elastomer and a polyamide. The third layer contacts the second layer opposite the first layer and has a loss modulus at 1 hertz and 25° C. of at least 70 megapascals. The second layer is sandwiched between the first and third layers. A method of making the multilayer film by coextrusion is also disclosed.

CEILING PANEL

A ceiling panel having a connection portion at one of end portions on both sides in a first direction of a panel body in a shape of a rectangular flat plate, the connection portion connecting with a connected portion of an adjacent ceiling panel. The connection portion is fixed to the end portion by a fastener, the fastener being fastened to an insertion part inserted into a layer of the panel body from a cut portion opening on a back face of the end portion so as to penetrate a securing part provided along the back face of the end portion.

Panel

A panel and a method of making a panel are provided. The panel comprises a cured polymeric foam layer that is formed by application of a foam composition to an edge surface of the panel and then shaped and cured. The panel comprises man-made vitreous fibre or wood wool cement.

A SHIELDING ARTICLE

Shielding articles are disclosed. One shielding article includes a fire retardancy element/fire propagation reduction element, which includes a pair of flexible graphite outer layers and a core, where the flexible graphite outer layers are on opposing sides of the core. The core may include one or more fire retardant elements or insulation materials. Also disclosed are battery packs that include the shielding articles. The shielding articles can be applied in any system that reduced fire propagation would be desirable.

SLIDING BOARD WITH CORRUGATED MEDIUMS
