BARRIER FABRICS WITH DESIRABLE AIR PERMEABILITY
A barrier fabric suitable as a backsheet for an underpad configured for a low air loss bed, in which the barrier fabric comprises a first nonwoven fabric including outermost spunbond layers and two or more fine-fiber containing nonwoven layers. Each of the nonwoven layers being treated with a non-fluorinated barrier coating (NFBC).
RECYCABLE TEXTILE FOR PACKAGING, TRANSPORTING AND/OR STORING ITEMS
The current invention relates to a textile suited for packaging, transporting and/or storing items, wherein said textile is a multilayered textile, said multilayered textile comprising a reinforcing middle part, a first outer nonwoven layer and a second outer nonwoven layer, wherein said reinforcing middle part is sandwiched between said first outer and said second outer nonwoven layer wherein said reinforcing middle part is comprised of two superimposed scrim layers, wherein each of said scrim layers has a weight between 50 to 100 g/m.sup.2 and said textile has a total weight of between 250 and 350 g/m.sup.2 as measured by EN 9073-1:1992. The current invention also relates to a container comprising aforementioned textile.
Method for nonwoven textiles with variable zonal properties
Methods and systems are provided for a process to generate a nonwoven textile. In one example, the nonwoven textile may have layered, zonal properties resulting from entangling of two or more types of staple fibers through a merging region between the layers of staple fibers while maintaining distinct zones, each zone comprising a type of staple fiber. Furthermore, the process may include embedding a filament layer into the nonwoven textile via a continuous assembly line.
Moulding material
The present invention is concerned with a moulding material comprising: a) A primary non-woven fibre layer; b) A secondary non-woven fibre layer, and c) A resin layer; wherein the resin layer bonds the secondary non-woven fibre layer to a first surface of the primary non-woven fibre layer, and the resin layer is exposed on the second surface of the primary non-woven layer.
Non-woven fabric for supporting solid electrolyte, and solid electrolyte sheet
The present invention provides a non-woven fabric for supporting a solid electrolyte in which heat-fusible composite fibers with a crimp are contained in an amount of not less than 60 mass % and not more than 100 mass % and are heat-fused, and a solid electrolyte sheet. The non-woven fabric for supporting a solid electrolyte is excellent in process performance, is satisfactorily filled with a solid electrolyte, is suitable for achieving a thin solid electrolyte sheet, and has few hole defects. The solid electrolyte sheet is excellent in self-sustainability and flexibility.
Single-Layer, High-Caliper Basemats and Fibrous Panels Including Same
A low density basemat provided as a single layer having a thickness of greater than about 1.1 inches (2.80 cm) and comprising at least about 90 weight percent mineral wool, based on the weight of the basemat, and a low density fibrous panel comprising the basemat and a porous scrim.
Fully enclosing engine or unit capsule of a motor vehicle with air cushion foil
Disclosed is a fully enclosing engine or unit capsule of a motor vehicle with an air cushion foil, whereby the acoustic component properties can be significantly influenced, tuned.
Flame-resistant shield for protected membrane roofs
An inverted roof membrane assembly comprising: a) a waterproofing membrane suitable for direct or indirect mounting on top of a roof decking, b) at least one layer of the polymer foam insulation board directly or indirectly on top of a), c) a flame-resistant fabric shield directly or indirectly on top of b), said flame-resistant fabric shield having a water vapor permeability of 1.0 perm or greater; and d) a ballast layer directly or indirectly on top of c).
Unitary nonwoven material
Nonwoven materials having at least one layer comprising cellulose fibers are provided. The nonwoven materials comprise bonded natural cellulosic fibers having high capillary action. The nonwoven materials are suitable for use in a variety of applications, including absorbent products and pre-moistened cleaning materials with metered release of liquid.
Nonwoven water-soluble composite structure
Provided herein are nonwoven composite articles including a first layer including a first nonwoven web including a first plurality of fibers having a first diameter, a second layer including a second nonwoven web including a second plurality of fibers having a second diameter, and a first interface including at least a portion of the first nonwoven web and at least a portion of the second nonwoven web, wherein the portion of the first nonwoven web and the portion of the second nonwoven web are fused, and wherein the second diameter is smaller than the first diameter and the first plurality of fibers, the second plurality of fibers, or both include a water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol fiber forming material. Also provided are flushable wipes and absorbent articles including nonwoven webs including fibers including a water-soluble polyvinyl alcohol fiber forming material.
