A synthetic leather has excellent flame retardance and an article covered with the synthetic. The synthetic leather includes a fiber base material layer formed of a non-woven fabric sheet, wherein the non-woven fabric sheet includes at least one flameproof layer formed of a web including a non-melting fiber A having a high-temperature shrinkage rate of 3% or less and a thermal conductivity, conforming to ISO22007-3 (2008), of 0.060 W/m.Math.K or less and is formed by bonding the flameproof layer to a scrim layer including a carbonized heat-resistant fiber B having an LOI value, conforming to JIS K 7201-2 (2007), of 25 or more, and a resin layer is laminated on a surface of the scrim layer, and a covered article covered with the synthetic leather.
Auxetic fabric reinforced elastomers
A composite structure is provided that includes a polymer layer and an auxetic material layer disposed within or partially within the polymer layer. The auxetic material layer provides increased conductivity and elastomeric reinforcement to the polymer layer.
AQUEOUS WATER-BASED BONDING SYSTEM FOR FLAME-RETARDANT COMPOSITE
Provided are burn protective materials and methods for making the same, and more particularly, flame-retardant composites with high flame-resistant additives and aqueous water-based bonding systems, and specifically those including a) a meltable layer; b) a heat reactive material comprising: a polymer resin comprising an aqueous acrylic resin, expandable graphite, at least one flame retardant (FR) additive, and at least one polyhydroxy compound; and c) an additional layer disposed on the heat reactive material so that the heat reactive material is between the meltable layer and the additional layer; wherein the textile composite has an afterflame of less than about 2 seconds.
OIL ABSORBING MAT AND THICKENING INHIBITOR FOR OIL
An oil-absorbing mat for disposing on a floor and absorbing an oil, comprising:
an oil absorber for absorbing the oil, the oil absorber being provided on the upper surface of the oil-absorbing mat; and a permeation preventing layer for preventing the permeation of the oil, the permeation preventing layer being provided on the floor surface of the oil-absorbing mat; wherein the oil absorber has a smoothness of 0.8 s or more as measured on the basis of JIS P 8155; and wherein the oil absorber has an air resistance (Oken Type) of 28 s or less as measured on the basis of JIS P 8117.

In order to reduce adhesive residue of an adhesive tape, an adhesive tape is provided, including a base material 10 having a base fabric 1 composed of warps and wefts, a first laminate layer 2 formed on a first surface 1A of the base fabric, and a second laminate layer 3 formed on a second surface 1B of the base fabric; and an adhesive layer 6 formed as an outermost layer on the side of the base material 10 on which the first laminate layer 2 is formed, wherein an unevenness 2B formed due to the warps and the wefts is formed on a surface of the first laminate layer opposite to the base fabric.

A method for heat-setting and laminating a 3D knitted fabric, which fabric has hot-melt adhesive yarn, on a carrier device for an interior component of a motor vehicle, includes the following steps: arranging the 3D knitted fabric on the carrier device in a laminating apparatus; activating the hot-melt adhesive yarn by way of the laminating apparatus for the heat-setting of the 3D knitted fabric; laminating the heat-set 3D knitted fabric on the carrier device by way of the laminating apparatus. A laminating apparatus for performing the heat-setting and laminating of the 3D knitted fabric on the carrier device is provided.
Raw cut edge swimsuit, and methods of making and using the same
A swimsuit is disclosed herein comprising a bust portion, and a bottom portion including a waist portion configured to surround a torso, with an inner fabric layer including an interior surface and an exterior surface, and an outer fabric layer including an interior surface and an exterior surface, a left leg opening defined by a lower left edge portion, and a right leg opening defined by a lower right edge portion. The lower left edge portion and lower right edge portion are raw cut and are bonded with a bonding layer between the interior surface of the inner layer and the interior surface of the exterior layer. A first positioning strip is formed on the exterior surface of the inner fabric layer along an edge portion of at least one of the bust portion and the bottom portion. Corresponding methods also are disclosed.
MULTI-PIECE RUG AND MAT ARRANGEMENT AND ASSEMBLY FOR FORMING A FLOOR COVERING
A multi-piece floor arrangement and assembly forms a floor covering that includes a top, or upper, rug portion and bottom, or lower, mat portion, and pocketed corner areas in each corner of an underside surface of the rug portion into which corresponding corners of the mat portion are insertable. The pocketed corner areas secure the rug portion with the mat portion when both are placed on an underlying surface while enabling a flow of air between the rug portion and the mat portion. The mat portion includes multiple interlocking sections that help to maintain the floor covering in a uniform planar shape and provide an aesthetically-pleasing appearance when placed on an underlying surface. The multi-piece arrangement and assembly does not move relative to that surface, yet does not require either a cumbersome installation or removal process.
