MOLDED ARTICLE COMPRISING THERMOPLASTIC RESIN COMPOSITION
According to the present invention, provided are a molded article formed of a thermoplastic resin composition, the molded article having a mean deviation of surface frictional coefficient of 0.02 or more and 0.08 or less, a mean deviation of surface roughness of 4 μm or more and 12 μm or less, a work of compression of 0.05 gf.Math.cm/cm.sup.2 or more and 0.30 gf.Math.cm/cm.sup.2 or less, a bulk density of 0.20 g/cm.sup.3 or more and 0.70 g/cm.sup.3 or less, an area ratio of through-holes of less than 3%, and a thickness of 10 μm or more and 1000 μm or less, and a laminate having the molded article.
STRUCTURED BODY AND METHOD FOR ITS PREPARATION
The invention relates to a structured body and a method for its preparation, whereby the structured body is produced of at least one powdery starting material by application of heat and/or pressure, and has several layers, whereby the starting material consists predominantly of thermoplastic basic material, and whereby the density of at least two layers of the structured body differ from each other, and whereby at least one layer of lower density contains hollow microspheres.
HYBRID CRANE MAT UTILIZING VARIOUS LONGITUDINAL MEMBERS
A crane mat having first and second side beams or boards; a core structure made of pine or other softwoods, eucalyptus, solid plastic or elastomeric members, or hollow thermoplastic, thermosetting plastic or elastomeric members that optionally include a filler or internal reinforcing structure; external components including an upper and/or lower layers of one or more elongated members to protect the core structure, and a plurality of joining members that attach the outer side members to the core structure. Another crane mat can be made of just the solid plastic or elastomeric members, or hollow thermoplastic, thermosetting plastic or elastomeric members that each include a plurality of spaced lateral apertures passing therethrough; and joining members that include a rod that passes through the aligned lateral apertures to hold the members together in the mat. These crane mats may also include lifting elements of the types described herein.
Clear film for tapes and labels
A multilayer film for use in adhesive tape or adhesive label applications comprising a core layer and skin layers on each side of the core layer. The core layer comprises a polypropylene mini-random homopolymer, wherein the mini-random homopolymer comprises polypropylene, up to 2 wt % ethylene components, and a acid neutralizer in a concentration up to 5000 ppm calcium. The skin layers each comprise a) at least about 95 wt % of a polypropylene mini-random homopolymer comprising polypropylene, up to 2 wt % ethylene components, and an acid neutralizer in a concentration up to about 5000 ppm, and b) an anti-block agent in a concentration up to about 1 wt %, wherein the anti-block agent comprises at least 95 wt % homopolymer of polypropylene and 1 to 5 wt % of silica having a particle size between about 1 to 3 μm.
LIGHTWEIGHT COMPOSITE MATERIAL AND METHOD FOR MAKING THE SAME
A lightweight composite material includes a substrate and a carbon fiber layer. The substrate has a first surface and a second surface opposite to each other, and is prepared by impregnating glass fibers with a resinous matrix which is formed by mixing hollow glass microspheres with a thermosettable resin material. The carbon fiber layer is bonded to one of the first and second surfaces of the substrate by thermosetting the thermosettable resin material.

A film stack made from compacted green films and capable of being sintered to form a ceramic component with monolithic multi-layer structure is disclosed. The film stack includes a functional layer comprising a green film comprising a functional ceramic and a tension layer comprising a green film comprising a dielectric material. The tension layer is directly adjacent to the functional layer in the multi-layer structure. The multilayer structure also includes a first metallization plane and second metallization plane. The functional layer is between the first metallization plane and the second metallization plane.
Stretchable conductor sheet and paste for forming stretchable conductor sheet
A first object of the present invention is to provide a stretchable conductor sheet that exhibits isotropic conductivity when stretched in a predetermined direction or in a direction perpendicular to the predetermined direction, and a paste for forming a stretchable conductor sheet, which is used for the stretchable conductor sheet. A second object of the present invention is to provide a stretchable conductor sheet having a small change in specific resistance even when repeatedly twisted, and a paste for forming a stretchable conductor sheet, which is used for the stretchable conductor sheet. A third object of the present invention is to provide a stretchable conductor sheet having a small change in specific resistance even when repeatedly washed, and a paste for forming a stretchable conductor sheet, which is used for the stretchable conductor sheet. The first object of the present invention can accomplish a stretchable conductor sheet having a thickness of 3 to 800 μm, the stretchable conductor sheet comprising at least conductive particles, inorganic particles surface-treated with a hydroxide and/or an oxide of one or both of Al and Si, and a flexible resin having a tensile elastic modulus of 1 MPa or more and 1000 MPa or less, wherein in each of two orthogonal directions, a specific resistance change ratio of the sheet at a time of elongation by 40% with respect to an original length is less than ±10% in an elongation direction.

Provided is a PSA sheet that shows high peel strength to low polar adherends while having excellent flexibility. This invention provides a PSA sheet that comprises a PSA layer (A) constituting an adhesive face and a viscoelastic layer (B) supporting the PSA layer (A). In the PSA sheet, the viscoelastic layer (B) comprises hollow particles or have bubbles. The PSA layer (A) comprises an acrylic polymer (a) as the base polymer. The copolymerization ratio of an acidic group-containing monomer in the acrylic polymer (a) is 5% by weight or lower.
RESIN COMPOSITION FOR PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD, PREPREG, RESIN COMPOSITE SHEET AND METAL FOIL CLAD LAMINATE
The object is to provide a resin composition for a printed circuit board capable of realizing a printed circuit board that not only has heat resistance and flame retardancy but also is excellent in heat resistance after moisture absorption. The resin composition is a resin composition for a printed circuit board containing a cyanate ester compound (A) obtained by cyanation of a naphthol-dihydroxynaphthalene aralkyl resin or a dihydroxynaphthalene aralkyl resin, and an epoxy resin (B).
MOLDED POLYMER AND METAL ARTICLES
There is provided a metal-organic composite which exhibits synergistic improvement in thermo-mechanical properties when compared with either of the components alone. The composites of this invention can be readily fabricated into various shapes by conventional molding processes including injection or compression molding. As a result, the composites of this invention find a variety of applications in fabricating a variety of three dimensional articles including automotive parts among others.
