Methods and devices for tissue treatment using mechanical stimulation and electromagnetic field
Devices and methods for tissue treatment produce a mechanical stimulation therapy and electromagnetic field therapy. The mechanical stimulation therapy provides stimulation of blood circulation and stimulates treated cells. The electromagnetic field enables thermal treatment of tissue. Combination of both therapies improves soft tissue treatment, mainly connective tissue in the skin area and fat reduction.
TECHNIQUES FOR MAGNETOCALORIC THERAPY
The disclosure relates to techniques for treating infiltrative tumors using magnetocaloric substances. After tumor removal, a vector carrying a magnetocaloric substance is introduced into a target area in a patient's body. After a period of time, the vectors migrate to cancerous cells and surround the tumor with the magnetocaloric substance. The patient is then exposed to a pulsing magnetic field that is controlled to heat the magnetocaloric substance to a target temperature. The temperature is maintained for a target duration that is sufficient to kill the cancerous cells.
Inducement, verification and optimization of neural entrainment through biofeedback, data analysis and combinations of adaptable stimulus delivery
Methods, systems and apparatus for inducing and verifying the level of neural entrainment at any target frequency, through a combination of biofeedback mechanisms, data analysis, and modulation of synergistic combinations of adaptable stimuli.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DECREASING EFFECTS OF LACK OF MUSCLE USE
During a period of lack of use, a person risks muscle atrophy and/or otherwise losing muscle strength/functionality. During such a period of lack of user, a photoceutical can be applied to the person’s muscle(s) through a photoceutical medical device to decrease the occurrence of these risks. The photoceutical is specially configured to reduce these risks and includes at least one of a pulsed light signal, a continuous light signal, and a super-pulsed light signal.
MASSAGE MODULE WITH IMPROVED DEGREE OF FREEDOM
Provided is a massage module having an improved degree of freedom, and more particularly, to a massage module having an improved degree of freedom, which, when a force is applied to the massage module, may provide a safe massage to the body of a user by buffering the force. To this end, the massage module may include a massage part that provides a massage to the body of a user, a tilting part that is disposed on one side of the massage part and controls rotation of the massage part, and a height adjustment part that is connected to the tilting part and adjusts a height of the massage part, wherein the massage part includes at least one buffer part disposed at a portion of the massage part that is directly coupled to the tilting part.
METHODS AND DEVICES FOR AESTHETIC TREATMENT OF BIOLOGICAL STRUCTURES BY RADIOFREQUENCY AND MAGNETIC ENERGY
A treatment device for providing a magnetic treatment and a radiofrequency treatment to a body area of a patient. The device includes an energy storage device for storing electric energy, a magnetic field generating device, and a switching device to discharge the electrical energy from the energy storage device to the magnetic field generating device, such that a time-varying magnetic field is generated and provides muscle contraction to a muscle in the body area of the patient. The time-varying magnetic field may have a magnetic field density in a range of 0.1 Tesla to 7 Tesla and a repetition rate in a range of 0.1 Hz to 700 Hz. The device may also include a radiofrequency electrode to generate radiofrequency waves to heat a tissue in the body of the patient. A body of the radiofrequency electrode may include a plurality of openings in a range of 5 to 1000 openings.
Device for synchronized sound, vibration and magnetic field stimulation
An apparatus capable of creating synchronized sound, vibration and magnetic field stimulation, for the purpose of habituating and inhibiting brain function while stimulating the human spiritual energy system, is described. The apparatus comprises an amplifier and transducers built into a comfortable seating arrangement including a support structure and a motion platform. The support structure, such as a chair, rests upon the motion platform, which is adapted to impart three-dimensional motion to the support structure. The apparatus uses layered music to create synchronized sounds, vibrations and magnetic fields.
METHOD, SYSTEM AND APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATED TERMINATION OF A THERAPY FOR AN EPILEPTIC EVENT UPON A DETERMINATION OF EFFECTS OF A THERAPY
A method comprising detecting an epileptic event in a patient; applying an electrical therapy to a first target area in at least one of a brain region or a cranial nerve of said patient in response to said detecting; receiving a body signal responsive to the electrical therapy, wherein said body signal is selected from an autonomic signal, a neurologic signal, a metabolic signal, an endocrine signal, or a tissue stress marker signal; determining whether said body signal indicates that said electrical therapy has an efficacious effect; and terminating the application of said electrical therapy if the response indicates that the electrical therapy has an efficacious effect. An apparatus capable of performing the method. A non-transitive, computer-readable storage device for storing data that when executed by a processor, perform the method.
Electric and Magnetic Neuromodulation
Neuromodulation is achieved by administering variable pulse electric or magnetic stimulation to a patient in need thereof. The neuromodulation can inhibit or enhance neuronal-synaptic transmission or muscle-synaptic transmission between neuron and muscle fibers The variable pulse electric or magnetic stimulation varies based on one or more mean and standard deviations of biological variables. Biological variables include heart rate variability, EEG variability, EMG variability and the frequency of activity measured in the spinal cord. The invention also includes devices that deliver the variable electric or magnetic pulses to the patient. Magnetic stimulation can be provided by electromagnetic or solid magnet stimulation.
Magnetic field oscillating at several frequencies for improving efficacy and/or reducing toxicity of magnetic hyperthermia
Magnetic nanoparticles for use in a magnetic hyperthermia therapeutic treatment, prophylactic treatment or diagnosis method, wherein the magnetic nanoparticles are administered to a body part of an individual and the body part is exposed to a magnetic field oscillating at a high frequency and at a medium and/or low frequency, wherein the high frequency is 1 MHz at the most, the medium frequency is lower than the high frequency, and the low frequency is lower than the high frequency and lower than the medium frequency when it is present.
