Laminated article
A laminated article includes a thermoplastic resin expanded beads molded layer A having a volume Va and a tensile modulus TMa which is 2 to 100 MPa, and a thermoplastic elastomer expanded beads molded layer B having a volume Vb and a tensile modulus TMb which is 0.05 MPa or more and less than 2 MPa, the layers A and B being laminated and bonded to each other. Va:Vb is 90:10 to 50:50 and TMb/TMa is 0.025 or less.
Flexible molded skin
The present invention relates to a flexible molded skin as part of a composite structure for an airbag cover, and to a composition for producing such a skin using slush molding. The composition and flexible molded skin have a thermoplastic plasticized vinyl polymer, and a tear promoting agent selected from the group of one or more particulate blowing agents, inorganic mineral materials, organic filler materials and microspheres or a mixture of two or more of the afore mentioned materials. The particles of the particulate tear promoting agent have an average particle size of between 0.005 and 50 μm, preferably between 0.005 and 40 μm.
FLUID STORAGE MEDIA AND METHOD OF DELIVERING A FLUID
A fluid storage media includes a plurality of microspheres. Each microsphere includes a porous core with a porous core material and having an exterior surface. A stored fluid is within the porous core. A coating layer covers all of the exterior surface of the porous core. The coating layer includes a coating material which transitions from a first state to a second state, wherein in the first state the coating material is permeable to the stored fluid, and in the second state the material is impermeable to the stored fluid. The coating material in the second state is configured to encapsulate and maintain the stored fluid inside the porous core. A method of making a fluid storage media, a method of delivering a fluid and a method of delivering a biologically active fluid medication to a patient are also disclosed.

Method for producing a composite component
A method for producing a composite component including a bottom layer, cover layer and honeycomb structure, including applying the honeycomb structure to the bottom layer wherein honeycomb chambers are formed. Honeycomb chambers are filled in a reinforcement region with a granular material and granular material is removed from other honeycomb chambers wherein each honeycomb chamber is filled up to a granular-material filling height and honeycomb chambers outside the reinforcement region are free of granular material. The cover layer is applied to the honeycomb structure wherein the honeycomb chambers are closed. The composite component is heated so the granular material in the honeycomb chambers expands to fill it with granular material and the cover layer, the bottom layer, the honeycomb structure and the expanded granular material harden, the density of the expanded granular material in the honeycomb chambers filled with granular material being dependent on the granular-material filling height.
POLYISOCYANURATE COVERBOARDS WITH IMPROVED FIRE RESISTANCE
A construction board includes a foam body having first and second planar surfaces, said foam body including a polyisocyanurate foam matrix defining a plurality of closed cells, said closed cells being at least substantially devoid of hydrocarbon blowing agents, and said foam body being characterized by a density, pursuant to ASTM C303, of at least 2.5 lbs/ft.sup.3; and a facer disposed on a planar surface of said foam body, said facer including a glass substrate having an internal planar surface proximate to said foam body and an external planar surface opposite said foam body, a first coating disposed on said external surface, and a second coating disposed on or proximate to said internal surface, where said first coating disposed on said external surface includes an inert filler, and where said second coating disposed on or proximate to said internal surface includes intumescent material.
THERMALLY RELEASABLE ADHESIVE MEMBER AND DISPLAY APPARATUS INCLUDING THE SAME
A thermally releasable adhesive member includes a base resin and microcapsules dispersed in the base resin. At least one of the microcapsules includes a shell part which comprises a hydrophobic polymer material, and a hollow part which is defined by the shell part and contains an organic solvent.
