A therapeutic method of reducing or eliminating viral infections in vivo includes subjecting a virally infected patient to one of a variety of strong magnetic fields. A static magnetic field has a magnetic field intensity of at least about 5 nanoTesla sufficient to be effective to disrupt viral metabolism. An alternating magnetic field has a magnetic field intensity of at least 0.1 nanoTesla sufficient to be effective to disrupt viral metabolism. A method of disrupting viral metabolism includes subjecting an infected patient or a mixture of live host cells and virus to the alternating magnetic field. A virus disruption apparatus includes a magnetic field generator of static or alternating magnetic fields. The magnetic field generator is selected from a Magnetic Resonance Imaging device, at least one permanent magnet, at least one superconducting magnet, at least one solenoid, and any combination thereof.

The method may further include detecting biomarker(s) within at least one of a redox system and a metabolic system to monitor efficacy of the therapy and/or calibrate or adjust the therapy.

The controller runs software that outputs in human-format sensor data provided by the sensor array. The software receives data from the controller, analyzes the data, presents the data to the user, and sends the data to the stimulator array via a data communication link. The stimulator array includes one or more electromagnets and at least one or more light-emitting diodes. The stimulator array emits an electromagnetic (and/or light) field to modify the electromagnetic activity of a patient's heart based on the data it receives from the controller. The system can be portable.

The pump receives water from the water tank through a first water pipe and transfers the water into the water passage of the coil through a second water pipe. The water absorbs heat from the coil while passing through the water passage of the coil. The pump receives the water from the water passage of the coil through a third pipe and returns the water into the water tank through a fourth pipe. The water is cooled by the fans while being returned from the water passage of the coil into the water tank.
