Aesthetic method of biological structure treatment by magnetic field
In methods for treating a patient, a time varying magnetic field is applied to a patient's body and causes a muscle contraction. The time-varying magnetic field may be monophasic, biphasic, polyphasic and/or static. The method may reduce adipose tissue, improve metabolism, blood and/or lymph circulation. The method may use combinations of treatments to enhance the visual appearance of the patient.
Magnetic nanostructures as theranostic agents
The present invention relates to magnetic nanostructures as theranostic agents, which provide dual function as diagnostic and therapeutic agents. In particular, the present invention relates to compositions comprising magnetic nanostructures and their use as targeted therapeutic agents for cancers (e.g., medulloblastoma) and Alzheimer's disease and related diseases and conditions.
Methods and devices for aesthetic treatment of biological structures by radiofrequency and magnetic energy
A treatment device for providing a magnetic treatment and a radiofrequency treatment to a body area of a patient. The device includes an energy storage device for storing electric energy, a magnetic field generating device, and a switching device to discharge the electrical energy from the energy storage device to the magnetic field generating device, such that a time-varying magnetic field is generated and provides muscle contraction to a muscle in the body area of the patient. The time-varying magnetic field may have a magnetic field density in a range of 0.1 Tesla to 7 Tesla and a repetition rate in a range of 0.1 Hz to 700 Hz. The device may also include a radiofrequency electrode to generate radiofrequency waves to heat a tissue in the body of the patient. A body of the radiofrequency electrode may include a plurality of openings in a range of 5 to 1000 openings.
MAGNETIC FIELD THERAPY APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR GENERATING A MAGNETIC FIELD
A magnetic field therapy apparatus includes a magnetic field generation device for generating a magnetic field that can be applied to a patient, and a control device for controlling an intensity of the magnetic field in such a way that the magnetic field intensity increases incrementally during a first interval T.sub.1 and is set to a constant level during a second interval (T.sub.2), the ratio of the first interval T.sub.1 to the second interval T.sub.2 corresponding to the golden section +/−0.1, preferably +/−0.01.
ESTHETIC APPARATUS USEFUL FOR INCREASING SKIN REJUVENATION AND METHODS THEREOF
The present invention provides a device for rejuvenating a region of skin or mucosal tissue, comprising: a pulsed electromagnetic frequency generator; a plurality of electrodes in communication with the pulsed electromagnetic frequency generator and an RF tissue diathermy device. The electrodes apply the pulsed electromagnetic power and the RF tissue diathermy to the tissue, heating it such that one portion of the region of mucosal tissue is maintained at a predetermined temperature range T.sub.1 while another portion of the region of mucosal tissue is at least temporarily maintained at predetermined temperature range T.sub.2.
High power time varying magnetic field therapy
In systems and methods for stimulation and treatment, a biological structure is stimulated by a high power time-varying magnetic field, and may also be stimulated with radiofrequency energy. The magnetic field stimulation is followed by at least a partial muscle contraction.
PULSED EMF LUMBAR DECOMPRESSION DEVICE
A spinal therapy device combining pulsed electromagnetic frequency (PEMF) technology and lumbar spinal decompression therapy. The combined device can provide consistent PEMF therapy to a patient who is also undergoing simultaneous lumbar spinal decompression therapy. The device configuration utilizes lumbar spinal decompression methods, which are advantageous for application of PEMF to the lumbar spine.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR ALTERING THE PROPERTIES OF BLOOD BY PROCESSING THROUGH THE APPLICATION OF A MAGNETIC FIELD
Embodiments include exposing blood to a pulsed magnetic field. Embodiments include exposing blood to a pulsed magnetic field as a means of improving blood viscosity management, blood oxygenation, and banked blood shelf life. Various other embodiments are also included herein.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR SPASTICITY TREATMENT USING SPINAL NERVE MAGNETIC STIMULATION
Described are methods, devices, and systems for a novel, easy to use treatment for spasticity that does not involve medication. Methods and devices herein use low-frequency repetitive magnetic fields to enhance communication in the spinal nerve, thereby allowing improved relaxation, control, and coordination in a muscle.
System and method for providing targeted ablation of parathyroidal tissue
Targeted ablation of parathyroidal tissue is provided through hyperthermia adjuvant therapy. An in situ localization of parathyroidal tissue is obtained. A temperature-sensitive adjuvant is instilled into the parathyroidal tissue. Hyperthermia is therapeutically induced within the parathyroidal tissue. Heat-inducing energy is targeted into the parathyroidal tissue, which selectively includes the temperature-sensitive adjuvant. Application of the heat-inducing energy to the parathyroidal tissue is continued over a therapeutic range. In a further embodiment, the targeted ablation of the parathyroidal tissue is provided through hypothermia adjuvant therapy with the targeted use of cold-inducing energy.
