CEMENT PANEL AND METHOD TO ELIMINATE RELEASE PAPER FROM CEMENT PANEL MANUFACTURE
A building composite panel including a core of a continuous phase comprising hydraulic binder. The core has first and second opposed longitudinal edge faces, and opposed first and second major faces, each major face adjoining the first and second opposed longitudinal edge faces. A slurry-permeable reinforcing material is attached to the first major face. A non-woven polymer fabric laminate facing material, that is different from the reinforcing material, covering and attached to and traversing the first major face and covering and attached to the opposed longitudinal edges of the core. The facing material includes a plurality of bonded laminas, wherein the plurality includes a first and second water-permeable laminas on opposed outer sides of the facing material, and a water-impermeable lamina between the first and second water-permeable laminas. The first water-permeable lamina attached to the core. A method for making the panel is also provided.
Decorative Anti-Slip Floor Covering Element and Decorative Anti-Slip Floor Covering
A decorative anti-slip floor covering element, in particular a floor panel, including a core provided with an upper side and a lower side. A decorative anti-slip floor covering, including a plurality of, preferably interconnected, floor covering elements according to the invention.
DIRECTED THERMAL CONDUCTION ARTICLE, COMPOSITE AND METHOD
An article including a composite. The composite includes a polymeric binder and particles in the polymeric binder, the particles being magnetically responsive and having a flake-like geometry. The particles include a thermally anisotropic material such that the particles are characterized by a higher in-plane thermal conductivity and a lower through-plane conductivity. The composite is characterized by at least one preferred thermal conduction path defined in sections of differently oriented alignments of the particles. At least two of the sections are differently oriented relative to one another by a gradient angular difference such that the at least two of the sections are non-parallel and non-perpendicular to one another. In specific embodiments, the particles are hexagonal boron nitride with superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles adsorbed thereon, and the polymeric binder includes polyvinyl pyrrolidone.
COOLING MATERIAL FOR BEDDING APPLICATIONS
A cooling fabric for using in bedding applications. The cooling material is preferably made as a multi-layered, multi-fabric material. The bedding related cooling material may be used to form, either partially or in whole, bedding products, such as bed sheets, mattress protectors, or pillows.
Film including polymeric elements interconnecting particles
A film includes a polymeric material and a plurality of particles dispersed therein. The polymeric material includes a plurality of elongate polymeric elements oriented along substantially a same first direction and interconnecting the particles. A ratio of a volume of the plurality of particles to a volume of the polymeric material is at least 5. An elongate portion of at least a first elongate polymeric element in the plurality of elongate polymeric elements may conform to and be bonded to a first particle in the plurality of particles along an entire length of the elongate portion. The first elongate polymeric element may extend from the elongate portion at least to a second particle in the plurality of particles.
MATTRESSES, CUSHIONS, AND BODY-SUPPORT PADS OR MATS WITH DEFORMABLE WALLS HAVING FIBER STRANDS EMBEDDED THEREIN
Mattresses, cushions, and body-support mats or pads include a plurality of layers extending in a depth direction from a resting surface, where the resting surface is capable of supporting user(s), to a lower surface, the lower surface being opposite the resting surface. The plurality of layers include a comfort layer that forms an upper layer proximate to the resting surface, where the comfort layer includes deformable walls separated by voids and the deformable walls include a plurality of fiber strands embedded in a cushioning media.
Highly dielectric metal oxide filled polymers for radio frequency products
Multi-layered articles or products comprising layers of filled polymer compositions, methods of making and applications or uses thereof.
