RELEASE FILM
A release film includes a first release film disposed on a printed circuit board and a connector that is connected to the printed circuit board. The first release film comprises a fixing portion having a shape extending in one direction. A second release film is disposed under the printed circuit board. The second release film includes an incision portion. The fixing portion extends into the incision portion.
Multifunctional surfacing films
The present invention is directed to multifunctional surfacing films each comprising: (a) a single layer of curable polymer composition having opposing first and second surfaces: (b) a peelable porous sheet disposed at or beneath the second surface; and (d) at least one porous sheet of functional material disposed within the single layer of curable polymer composition and positioned between the first surface and the peelable porous sheet, and methods of making and using such multifunctional surfacing films.
Conductive paper for making electroactive surface in construction
A building construction product with an electroconductive surface, the building construction product comprising a core with one or more surfaces covered by an electroconductive paper comprising carbon fibers, the electroconductive paper being attached to the one or more surfaces of the core. Methods and materials for producing the building construction products with an electroconductive surface and products and methods for shielding an area from electromagnetic waves.
Conductive composite and method for manufacturing a conductive composite
A conductive composite includes a first layer of elastomeric polymer, a layer of electrically conductive paste on the first layer of elastomeric polymer, and a second layer of elastomeric polymer on the layer of electrically conductive paste. A reinforcement mesh is in contact with the layer of electrically conductive paste.
Multilayer coverings to protect surfaces from lightning strikes
A multilayer protective covering can protect a surface from lightning strikes. The covering includes a bottom conductive layer affixed to the surface and having a first opening that is aligned with a grounding connection so that the grounding connection is exposed through first opening and not in contact with the bottom conductive layer. The covering also includes a dielectric layer affixed to the bottom conductive layer and having second opening aligned with the grounding connection so that the grounding connection is exposed through second opening and not in contact with the dielectric layer. The covering additionally includes a top conductive layer affixed to the dielectric layer and covering the grounding connection. The top conductive layer directs electrical current from a lightning strike on the surface to the grounding connection.
LAMINATE INCLUDING ALUMINUM SHEETS
A laminate structure and method of forming is provided. The laminate structure includes a first metal sheet having a first thickness, a second metal sheet having a second thickness, and an adhesive core having an adhesive thickness. The adhesive core is disposed between and bonded to the first and second metal sheets. The first and second metal sheets are made of an aluminum based material and the adhesive core is made of an adhesive material also described as a viscoelastic adhesive material. The laminate structure is configured such that a ratio of the sum of the first and second thickness to the adhesive thickness is greater than either to one (8:1). The laminate structure including the viscoelastic adhesive core is characterized by a composite loss factor at 1,000 Hertz which is continuously greater than 0.1 within a temperature range of 25 degrees Celsius to 50 degrees Celsius.
Variable Emissivity Surfaces
This invention relates to devices integrally comprising fibres that have emissivities, particularly of infrared radiation, that can be controllably varied. The active emissive surface comprises graphene layers with intercalated ions.
FILM WITH A COATING
The interaction of elementary particles, in particular neutrinos of any kind and/or electromagnetic waves and/or gravitation, hereinafter referred to as kinetic energy of radiations, such as non-visible spectrum of solar or space radiation with metallic and/or non-metallic structures, in particular a film which is made of metal, a metal alloy or an electrically conductive plastic and which has a non-metallic nano-coating.
CONTACT PROTECTING EDGE STRUCTURE ON GLASS LAMINATES
A laminated glass pane (1) comprises a first glass pane (10A), a second glass pane (10B) and an optically active film (20) laminated between the glass panes. The optically active film comprises a first conductive layer and a second conductive layer separated by at least one intermediate layer. The first and second conductive layers are contacted by a first (12A) and second (12B) connection wire, respectively. The optically active film is fully covered by both glass panes. Both the first and the second connection wires protrude out from the active film passing a first edge (14A) of the first glass pane in a same direction (18). The second glass pane protrudes outside the first edge of the first glass pane in the direction by an off-set distance (16). The off-set distance is at least equal to a smallest width of the first and second connection wires.
Stepped conductivity interface
Provided is a stepped conductivity arrangement between a carbon-based element and a down conductor of a wind turbine rotor blade, which stepped conductivity arrangement includes a transition interface arranged to electrically connect a first electrically conductive part and a second electrically conductive part, wherein the first electrically conductive part extends from the down conductor, the second electrically conductive part extends from the carbon-based element, and wherein the electrical conductivity of the transition interface decreases in the direction of the second electrically conductive part. The embodiments further describe a wind turbine rotor blade comprising such a stepped conductivity arrangement and a method of providing such a stepped conductivity arrangement.
