Fluid handling device and method
A device and method for handling fluids released during a procedure employs a floormat with opposing surfaces. The floormat is formed, at least in part, of compressible and resilient material. An absorbent sheet is attached to one of the opposing surfaces of the floormat. At least part of the absorbent sheet is stacked to extend peripherally beyond the floormat. The floormat and absorbent sheet are placed where a user is expected to stand during the procedure, and are stacked with at least part of the absorbent sheet extending beyond the floormat. A user stands atop the floormat and absorbent sheet during at least part of the procedure. During the procedure, fluids that fall onto the absorbent sheet are absorbed into it. The floormat and absorbent sheet are vacated and discarded before starting another procedure.
MULTILAYER CONTAINMENT AND PROTECTION TUBE FOR CONDUITS, CABLES AND THE LIKE
A multilayer containment and protection tube for conduits, cables and the like, includes an inner layer made of polymeric material, which is electrically at least antistatic, with a smooth internal surface, which forms a duct for supporting conduits or cables. The tube further includes one or more intermediate layers of electrically at least antistatic reinforcement, an outer layer made of electrically at least antistatic polymeric material, and a covering and finishing layer, which is electrically at least antistatic.
ADHESIVE BONDING COMPOSITION AND METHOD OF USE
A method of and system for adhesive bonding by a) providing a polymerizable adhesive composition on a surface of an element to be bonded to form an assembly; b) irradiating the assembly with radiation at a first wavelength capable of vulcanization of bonds in the polymerizable adhesive composition by activation of sulfur-containing compound with at least one selected from x-ray, e-beam, visible, or infrared light to thereby generate ultraviolet light in the polymerizable adhesive composition; and c) adhesively joining two or more components together by way of the polymerizable adhesive composition, and a curable polymer for use therein.
UV And High Energy Visible Absorbing Ophthalmic Lenses
An ophthalmic lens operable to protect the eye from harmful ultraviolet and high energy visible wavelengths of light and methods for producing the same.
PACKAGES AND METHODS FOR MANUFACTURING PACKAGES
A package that includes a housing portion, a handling portion and a separation feature. The separation feature facilitates separation of the handling and housing portions. The separation feature includes a first release layer and a second release layer adjacent to the first release layer provided between the first and second films at an overlapping portion of the housing portion and the handling portion.
Protective sheet for liquid crystal display screens and liquid crystal display including the same
A protective sheet includes a base layer, an interfacial layer, and a skin layer stacked in order. The base layer includes an aromatic polycarbonate resin, the interfacial layer includes an aliphatic polycarbonate resin; and the skin layer includes a cycloolefin polymer (COP) resin.
ACRYLIC RESIN COMPOSITION AND LAMINATE FORMED BY LAMINATING SAME
Disclosed is an acrylic resin composition that has excellent weather resistance and can be stably produced at high temperatures. Specifically, disclosed is an acrylic resin composition including, with respect to 100 parts by mass of an acrylic resin, from 0.1 to 8 parts by mass of a triazine-based UV absorber including 2-(4,6-diphenyl-1,3,5-triazin-2-yl)-5-[2-(2-ethylhexanoyloxy)ethoxy]phenol, wherein the acrylic resin used is an acrylic resin including at least 80 wt % of methyl methacrylate as a monomer component, and having a glass transition temperature of at least 80° C.

A curable epoxy composition comprising a polyvalent epoxy compound (A) having a biphenyl structure and/or condensed polycyclic structure, a phosphorus-containing epoxy compound (B) having a structure shown by the following formula (1) or (2), and a triazine structure-containing phenol resin (C) and a film, laminated film, prepreg, laminate, cured article, and composite article obtained using the same are provided.
##STR00001##
Where, in the formula (1), each of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 respectively independently represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, the pluralities of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be the same or different, and each of “m” and “n” respectively independently represents an integer of 0 to 4, and where, in the formula (2), each of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 respectively independently represents a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, the pluralities of R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 may be the same or different, and each of “m” and “n” respectively independently represents an integer of 0 to 5.
Structural member for electronic devices
Provided is a structural member for electronic devices which uses a material that is flexible and has excellent restoration properties after extension and stress relaxation properties. The structural member for electronic devices has the following properties A and B: (Property A) In a case where predetermined deformation is applied, stress that applies the deformation is relaxed (reduced) with time: and (Property B) In a case where the stress that applies deformation is 0, the deformation rarely remains while a resin composition is recovered. That is, when stress is 0, residual strain substantially becomes 0 (specifically 3% or lower).
PRESSURE-SENSITIVE ADHESIVE FILM
Embodiments provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive film having (α) a poly(meth)acrylimide-based resin film layer and (γ) a pressure-sensitive adhesive agent layer in that order from the surface layer side and having a total light transmittance of 80% or higher. The pressure-sensitive adhesive film may further have (δ) a hard coat layer on the surface layer side of the poly(meth)acrylimide-based resin film layer (α). This hard coat layer (δ) may comprise an active energy ray-curable resin composition that contains (A) 100 parts by mass of a polyfunctional (meth)acrylate; (B) 0.2-4 parts by mass of a compound having an alkoxysilyl group and a (meth)acryloyl group; (C) 0.05-3 parts by mass of organic titanium; and (D) 5-100 parts by mass of fine particles having an average particle diameter of 1-300 nm.
