Insulated Transparent Display for an Appliance
20220369480 · 2022-11-17 ·

An appliance has an insulated compartment with a door that is movable between a closed position and an open position for accessing an interior cavity of the insulated compartment. A window panel is disposed at the door for viewing the interior cavity when the door in in the closed position. A display overlays at least a portion of the window panel, so as to display information that is visible at an exterior surface of the door. The display is also at least partially transparent for viewing the interior cavity through the window panel and the display. A transparent thermal insulator is disposed between the window panel and the display to prevent the interior cavity from heating or cooling the display outside of an operating temperature range.

THERMAL INSULATION DEVICE

A thermal insulation device includes a film unit including inner and outer layers and a thermal insulation unit. The outer layer is mounted to a window of a vehicle. The inner layer has a peripheral portion connected sealingly to the outer layer, and a center portion spaced apart from and cooperating with the outer layer to define a thermal insulation space therebetween. The film unit is formed with inlet holes communicating with the thermal insulation space and a seating space of the vehicle, and outlet holes communicating with the thermal insulation space and open toward the bodyshell, such that air in the seating space flows into the thermal insulation space through the inlet holes and is discharged from the thermal insulation space toward the bodyshell through the outlet holes. The thermal insulation unit includes a heat insulation layer disposed on the outer layer.

High temperature-heat insulator and method for manufacturing three-dimensionally shaped insulator thereof

Disclosed is a heat insulator comprising a substrate comprising of a bulk of silica-based inorganic fiber containing a hydroxyl group; a metallic or ceramic infrared mediator held on at least a part of one surface of the substrate; and a silica cured product holding the infrared mediator on/in the substrate. As the infrared mediator, a metal foil or a ceramic particle may be used. This heat insulator exhibits excellent heat insulating performance in a high temperature range of 600° C. or more, and can be molded into a three-dimensional shape which can be directly mounted to a structure.

A floor panel (100) for transport means, in particular for trains, ships or boats, the floor panel (100) comprising a metal plate (1); at least one heating cable (2, 3) adapted to generate heat when it is crossed by electric current; a net (4) provided with a plurality of meshes (41); wherein said at least one heating cable (2, 3) is arranged between the net (4) and the metal plate (1). wherein said at least one heating cable (2, 3) is in contact with the metal plate (1).

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR APPLYING A FOAMING REACTION MIXTURE ONTO A LAMINATOR
20220356382 · 2022-11-10 ·

Laminated panels are made in a process whereby a starting foam formulation is processed through a mixhead, passed through a branched distribution system and dispensed through multiple outlets of the distribution system to produce a foam layer on a bottom facing layer. The foam layer is monitored for the presence of surface bubbles. When surface bubbles are observed, the backpressure in the mixhead is increased to reduce or eliminate the surface bubbles. An apparatus for performing the process includes an adjustment means at or upstream of a first branch point in the distribution system to increase or decrease the backpressure in the mixhead.
