TRACTION POWER SIMULATION
Systems and methods are provided for simulating traction power and control in transportation systems under design conditions and/or utilizing real-time data.
Aerogel-based components and systems for electric vehicle thermal management
Aerogel-based components and systems for electric vehicle thermal management are provided. Exemplary embodiments include a heat control member. The heat control member can include reinforced aerogel compositions that are durable and easy to handle, have favorable performance for use as heat control members and thermal barriers for batteries, have favorable insulation properties, and have favorable reaction to fire, combustion and flame-resistance properties. Also provided are methods of preparing or manufacturing such reinforced aerogel compositions. In certain embodiments, the composition has a silica-based aerogel framework reinforced with a fiber and including one or more opacifying additives.
Thermoregulation articles for exteriors of buildings
A thermoregulation article includes a metal film, a polymer film disposed on the metal film, and a colorant film disposed on the metal film. The thermoregulation article has at least one side having an average reflectivity greater than 0.5 at a wavelength of 0.3-4 μm and an average emissivity less than 0.4 at a wavelength of 4-20 μm.
FOAM FORMED SOLID COMPOSITE COMPRISING NANOCELLULOSE AND SOLID LOW-DENSITY PARTICLES
The present invention relates to a foam formed solid composite, comprising: a matrix phase consisting of a mixture of nanocellulose, at least one foaming agent, and optional additives, and a dispersed phase consisting of solid low-density particles having a density of less than 1.2 kg/dm.sup.3. The present invention further relates to a method and a liquid foam composition for manufacturing the solid composite.
RECYCLABLE FLEXIBLE HIGH BARRIER FILMS AND BAGS FOR PACKAGING FLOWABLE MATERIALS
The disclosure provides ethylene/α-olefin interpolymer and/or copolymer based coextruded, multi-layer films, including high barrier films and non-barrier films, and articles of manufacture that include the films, such as flexible bags and containers for flowable materials. The films and articles that include the films have good flex-crak resistance and toughness. The films and articles that include the films have good high barrier properties as the barrier films include a core layer of ethylene-vinyl alcohol (EVOH) copolymer. The relatively low amount of EVOH copolymer in the total film that is needed to achieve the flex-crack resistance, toughness, and high barrier properties, further allow for the recycling of the films and articles of manufacture.
PHOTOSENSITIVE RESIN COMPOSITION, DRY FILM, PRINTED WIRING BOARD, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING PRINTED WIRING BOARD
There is provided a photosensitive resin composition comprising (A) a photopolymerizable compound having an ethylenically unsaturated group and an acid substituent, (B) a curing agent, (C) a photopolymerization initiator, and (D) a photopolymerizable compound, wherein the photopolymerizable compound (D) is a polyfunctional monomer which has a skeleton (X) derived from a polyhydric alcohol and having three or more bonding groups (a), each bonded to another structure and corresponding to a hydroxy group from which the hydrogen atom has been removed, and which has three or more (meth)acryloyl groups bonded directly or indirectly to the bonding groups (a), and wherein at least one (meth)acryloyl group of the three or more (meth)acryloyl groups is bonded to the bonding group(s) (a) via a linking group. There are also provided a dry film using the photosensitive resin composition, a printed wiring board, and a method for producing the printed wiring board.
Ceiling panel for suspended ceilings
A ceiling panel for use in a gridwork of a suspended ceiling is provided. The ceiling panel includes a layer of foam insulation. A first facing sheet is positioned on a lower major face of the layer of foam insulation and a second facing sheet is positioned on an upper major face of the layer of foam insulation. A surface covering layer is positioned on an exposed face of the first facing sheet.
PLASMA RESISTANT CERAMIC BODY FORMED FROM MULTIPLE PIECES
Disclosed is a joined ceramic body comprising a first ceramic portion comprising a first ceramic, a second ceramic portion comprising a second ceramic, and a joining layer formed between the first ceramic portion and the second ceramic portion. The joining layer has a bond thickness of from 0.5 to 20 um and comprises silicon dioxide having a total impurity content of 20 ppm and less. A method of making the joined ceramic body and a joining material are also disclosed.
LAYERED PRODUCT INCLUDING HIGH TEMPERATURE-RESISTANT TRANSPARENT FILM
Provided is a layered product that uses a high temperature-resistant transparent film having sufficient heat resistance, and that is capable of being mechanically released from an inorganic substrate after various processes are performed on the inorganic substrate since the adhesive strength between the high temperature-resistant transparent film and the inorganic substrate is appropriately weak, and that is less warped along with the inorganic substrate. In this layered product, no adhesive is used between the high temperature-resistant transparent film and the inorganic substrate, the release strength between the high temperature-resistant transparent film and the inorganic substrate is at most 0.3 N/cm, and the warpage amount of the layered product when heated at 300° C. is at most 400 .Math.m.
Method for applying a polymeric film to a substrate and resulting articles
A polymeric film assembly comprising a first solidified interlayer on a polymeric film or laminate comprising the same that is contacted with at least a portion of a surface of an underlying article to provide, for example, desired surface characteristics. At least a portion of the first solidified interlayer becomes a softened interlayer positioned between the polymeric film and the surface of the article when contacted as such. The softened interlayer is then converted to a second solidified interlayer, which second solidified interlayer may be in a different form than or same form as the first solidified interlayer initially provided, for adherence of the polymeric film to at least the portion of the surface of the article. Ease of removal and/or repair of polymeric film and laminates comprising the polymeric film that are so applied is facilitated.
