The wrap can include a first layer of paper material, a second layer of paper material, and a series of coatings between the paper materials. The coatings include a first flood coating having water and/or barrier properties, a second flood coating having water and/or oil barrier properties, and a third coating that only partially covers the second flood coating. None of the first, second and third coatings comprise a thermoplastic or polyolefin, and are made substantially from one or more biodegradable and/or compostable materials.
ELECTROSTATIC SPRAY DEVICE
An electrostatic spray device, comprising: an electrostatic spray main body capable of containing a liquid containing portion of a cartridge, the cartridge including the liquid containing portion that contains a liquid and a spray unit that sprays the liquid, the electrostatic spray device spraying the liquid by the electrostatic spray main body applying a voltage to the liquid, in which the cartridge has conductivity in at least one portion of the liquid containing portion, and the electrostatic spray main body includes a high-voltage generating unit which generates a high voltage, and a contact portion which is in contact with the portion having conductivity of the liquid containing portion contained in the electrostatic spray main body and applies the high voltage to the liquid in the liquid containing portion through the portion having conductivity.
PRINTED RETORT PACKAGING MATERIALS AND RELATED METHODS
Methods of making printed flexible packaging material for retort applications include steps of digital printing on a flexible substrate material using polymeric ink and curing the printed ink. The printed ink on the material and packaging made therefrom exhibits resistance to blurring and discoloration under retort conditions.
Decorative sheet and decorative plate
A decorative sheet in which squashing of an embossed shape is suppressed when bonded to an adherend, even when an embossed shape is deeply formed to improve the designability and texture of the decorative plate. More specifically, a decorative sheet having a laminate sequentially including a base material sheet, a transparent resin layer, and a surface-protecting layer in the thickness direction, wherein (1) the decorative sheet has an embossed projection and depression pattern on the surface-protecting layer side, (2) the projections of the embossed projection and depression pattern are rising portions successively connected to the depressions, and are projected from a reference plane, the reference plane being a portion of the surface of the surface-protecting layer without the embossed projection and depression pattern, and (3) the surface of the surface-protecting layer has a maximum profile peak height Rp specified in JIS B0601 (2001) of 30 μm or more.
Multilayered polymeric film
Disclosed are compositions and methods for creating a textured or patterned surface on elastomeric extruded film.
Polyethylene laminates for use in flexible packaging materials
Embodiments of a laminate structure for use in flexible packaging comprise a sealant film comprising ethylene-based polymer, and a multilayer polyethylene print film laminated to the sealant film. The print film comprises at least 3 layers and has an overall thickness from 15 to 30 μm. The print film comprises a middle layer, an inner layer disposed between sealant film and the middle layer, and an outer layer, wherein the middle layer comprises at least 90% by weight high density polyethylene (HDPE) polymer having a density from 0.950 to 0.965 g/cc. The inner layer and the outer layer comprise linear low density polyethylene (LLDPE) having a density from 0.925 to 0.965 g/cc. The laminate structure yields desired optical and mechanical properties coupled with recyclability and improved printing efficiency, while maintaining these low thicknesses for the print film.
Acrylic matte resin film
The present invention is to provide an acrylic matte resin film with good matte appearance, high thermal stability during molding, stable production, in addition, excellent appearance design, high mechanical strength, easy handling, and applicability for various applications. Provided is an acrylic matte resin film which has a surface having a 60° surface glossiness (Gs60°) of less than 100% on at least one of the films, wherein an arithmetic mean roughness (Ra) of the surface having the surface glossiness satisfies the following formula (1) and wherein the surface satisfying the following formula (1), comprises an acrylic resin composition (a) has a gel content of 40% by mass or more:
2.2×NGs60°.sup.(−0.97)≤Ra≤4.4×NGs60°.sup.(−0.97) . . . (1)
wherein NGs indicates a value obtained by excluding % from Gs60°, which is less than 100%.
Wooden decorative board, method for manufacturing the same, and molded article with wooden decorative board
A wooden decorative board includes: an uneven board made of natural wood and including a plurality of uneven portions provided on a surface due to xylem vessels; and a hard coat layer or a protective layer having uneven portions different in size provided on a surface of the uneven board, wherein concave portions and a plurality of concave portions smaller than the concave portions are provided on a surface of the hard coat layer or the protective layer.
SURFACE-TREATED FILLERS FOR POLYESTER FILMS
The present invention relates to a mono or multi-layer polyester film, a process for producing the mono or multi-layer polyester film, an article comprising the mono or multi-layer polyester film as well as the use of the mono or multi-layer polyester film packaging products, insulating materials, solar, marine or aviation applications, science, electronic or acoustic applications, wires, cables, radio frequency identifications, flexible circuits, graphic arts, stone paper, holograms, filter products, cosmetic products, household products imaging, recording media, or industrial products.
METHODS OF MAKING ROOF LAMINATES WITH REMOVABLE PROTECTIVE SHEETS AND ROOF LAMINATES
A roof laminate (10) includes a roof membrane (12, 100, 200, 300) and a protective sheet (14, 114, 214, 314) removably affixed thereto. The surface (20) of the roof membrane (12, 100, 200, 300) can be protected from dirt, scratches and scrapes by a protective sheet (14, 114, 214, 314) which also provides other beneficial attributes that aid an installer. The membrane (12, 100, 200) and the sheet (14, 114, 214) are heat laminated together in the absence of adhesive and tackifiers. Alternatively, the membrane (12, 300) and the sheet (14, 314) are surface treated and then brought into contact with one another in the absence of adhesive and tackifiers. The sheet (14, 114, 214, 314)) may be single layer or include at least a first layer (30) directly secured to a second layer (32). The first layer (30) provides at least one of UV protection, anti-slip, and anti-glare to the roof laminate (10) and so aids the installer in at least one of those respects. The second layer (32) is removably affixed to the roof membrane (12, 100, 200, 300).
