Method for manufacturing a registered embossed decorative panel

A method for manufacturing a registered embossed decorative panel including providing a substrate having a printed design, applying a coating to the surface of the substrate, applying a release foil to the coating, curing the coating to maintaining the position of the release foil, printing a resin on the release foil, consolidating the composite under heat and pressure, and removing the release foil.

Multilayer coating film and coated article

FF properties of a multilayer coating film configured to exhibit a warm color through a lustrous layer (14) and a translucent colored layer (15) are improved to achieve a metallic textured color having a high-quality color tone. The lustrous layer (14) is configured such that Y(10) is 50 or more and 950 or less and that Y(25) is 0.05 or more and 0.35 or less times the Y(10), where Y(10) represents a Y value, of an XYZ color system, of reflected light measured at a light receiving angle of 10 and Y(25) represents a Y value of the reflected light measured at the light receiving angle of 25 in a case where a light incident angle is 45. A concentration C of a warm color pigment of the colored layer (15) is 1% by mass or more and 17% by mass or less.

COPOLYAMIDE COMPOSITIONS WITH REDUCED CRYSTALLIZATION RATES

A copolyamide composition comprising a statistical copolyamide containing 70-99 wt % of diamine and dicarboxylic acid repeat units and 1-30 wt % of lactam or AA-BB repeat units, whereby incorporation of the comonomer lactam or AA-BB unit reduces the crystallization rate (longer crystallization times) while maintaining (1) high melting point, (2) low potential plate out, (3) low oxygen permeation, (4) high tensile strength and (5) puncture/tear resistance.

Method of forming a reusable coextruded embossed nonadhesive protective cover

A method of forming a reusable, non-adhesive protective cover is disclosed which includes extruding first and second layers of a thermoplastic film onto a rotatable cast roll. The first layer has an interior surface and an exterior surface. The second layer is extruded onto the interior surface of the first layer to form a co-extruded laminate. The second layer has an exterior surface exhibiting attachment and release capabilities such that a joint tape can be used to join adjacent sheets of the protective cover together. The co-extruded laminate is then advanced between a nip formed by an embossing roll and a rubber roll whereby the exterior surface of the first layer contacts the embossing roll to form a co-extruded embossed laminate. Lastly, the co-extruded embossed laminate is passed around at least a portion of a chill roll to cool the laminate and form the reusable, co-extruded embossed non-adhesive protective cover.

ADHESIVE FOR ENDOSCOPE, CURED PRODUCT, ENDOSCOPE, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING ENDOSCOPE

Provided are a two-component adhesive for an endoscope and a cured product thereof, the adhesive having a base resin and a curing agent.

The base resin contains an epoxy resin (A), and the epoxy resin (A) includes an epoxy resin (a) having an average degree of polymerization of 2 or more. Also provided are an endoscope produced by using the adhesive for an endoscope and a method for producing the endoscope.

RESIN FOR USE AS A TIE LAYER IN MULTILAYER STRUCTURE HAVING POLYETHYLENE TEREPHTHALATE

The disclosure relates to a tie resin formulation with excellent adhesion to polyethylene terephthalate (PET). The resin includes (A) an ethylene acrylate copolymer formed from ethylene and alkyl acrylate, where the ethylene acrylate copolymer has an acrylate content of 10 to 30 weight percent and an ethylene content of 90 to 70 weight percent based on the total weight of the ethylene acrylate copolymer and the acrylate content and (B) a transesterification catalyst; where the resin includes: 30 to 99.999 weight percent of the ethylene acrylate copolymer based on the total weight of the resin; 0.001 to 10 weight percent of the transesterification catalyst based on the total weight of the resin; and (C) 0 to 69.999 of a non-polar polyolefin based on the total weight of the resin.
