CAP LAYERS OF COMPOSTABLE MULTI-LAYER FILM
A coextruded multi-layer compostable film comprises a core layer, a first cap layer and a second cap layer. The core layer comprises PLA resin, PHA resin and modifier X. The modifier X comprises migratory additives such as slip agents, nucleating agent, plasticizers, hydrolytic promoters, enzymes and fillers or mixtures thereof. The cap layers comprise at least 60 wt % TUV-certified home compostable composition. The content of migratory components in the cap layers is less than 0.5 wt % of the total weight of the cap layer, more preferably, less than 0.1 wt % of the total weight of the cap layer, more preferably, no migratory additives in the cap layers. The first cap layer has direct contact to the surface of the first chilled drum and the second cap layer has direct contact to the surface of the second chilled drum. In casting of a film, plate-out does not form on the surface of the chilled drums. The cap layers effectively prevent forming plate-out on the surface of processing equipment.
CHROMATIC MIRROR, CHROMATIC PANEL AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
Chromatic components are presented which alleviate the usage in various applications in that this chromatic component is, according to a first aspect of the present application, made-up of a mirroring surface and a diffusing layer in front of the mirroring surface, which preferentially scatters short-wavelength components of impinging light with respect to long-wavelength components of the impinging light, and in that according to another aspect, the chromatic component is made up of a stratified-glass panel which comprises two less sheets sandwiching an adhesive transparent polymeric film wherein the adhesive transparent polymeric film forms a diffusing layer which preferentially scatters short-wavelength components of fight passing the stratified-glass panel with respect to long-wavelength components of this light with respect to long-wavelength components of the same.
RIGID BOARD PLASTIC FLOORING AND ITS PRODUCTION METHOD
The invention relates to a rigid board plastic flooring comprising a wear layer, a decoration layer, a first connecting layer and a bottom layer which are connected in sequence, and also relates to the production method thereof. The bottom layer of the flooring is prepared using extrusion molding without adding plasticizer. The product is therefore more environmentally friendly. The edge of the click product is not easily damaged during storage and transportation as the bottom layer comprises a plastic hard board and the strength of the click profile is strong.
MOLDING FILM AND MOLDING TRANSFER FOIL USING SAME
A film for molding has an annular olefin-based resin as the main component thereof and is characterized by an X surface and a Y surface both having a surface glossiness of no more than 50%, when one surface is the X surface and the other surface is the Y surface. The film has excellent winding properties during processing, has high design properties and excellent fingerprint wipe-off properties for the surface of product members (molded members after molding and decoration) when the film is used as a transfer foil for molding.
ARTICLES COMPRISING LOW TEMPERATURE HEAT-SEALABLE POLYESTER
An article such as a film or sheet comprises a heat-sealable polyester composition having an amorphous processing window ranging from a Tg in the range of about 40 to about 70 C., to a Tcg in the range of about 70 to about 150 C. The composition comprises poly(trimethylene furandicarboxylate) homopolymer or copolymer, or a blend of poly(trimethylene furandicarboxylate) homopolymer or copolymer with other polymers such as poly(alkylene furandicarboxylate) homopolymer or copolymer or poly(alkylene terephthalate) homopolymer or copolymer. The resulting composition is heat-sealable at low temperatures, and exhibits superior barrier properties compared to poly(ethylene terephthalate).
POLYMERIC FILMS AND METHODS FOR MAKING POLYMERIC FILMS
Multi-layer films include at least one cavitated core layer that is microporous and breathable, and at least one skin layer. The cavitated core layer includes a polyolefin and an inorganic filler dispersed in the polyolefin. Methods for forming polymeric films and articles of manufacture prepared therefrom are described.
RELEASE MATERIALS
The present application is directed to an adhesive article comprising a pressure sensitive adhesive layer and a release layer in contact with the pressure sensitive adhesive layer. The release layer comprises a polyolefin block copolymer. Generally, the polyolefin block copolymer has a density of no greater than 0.9 g/cc.
FLOOR, WALL, OR CEILING PANEL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
A floor, wall, or ceiling panel has a base made of a wood material and an upper veneer. The base and the veneer are hot-pressed together while incorporating a resin layer. During the pressing process, pores, cracks, and/or gaps in the veneer are filled with resin. In particular, the pressing process is carried out such that the veneer is saturated with resin, and the resin can be seen on the surface of the veneer after the pressing process The adhesion of the veneer to the base and the smoothing of the veneer are thus carried out in one operation.

The laminated separator includes: the porous film containing a polyolefin-based resin as a main component; and the porous layer containing the polyvinylidene fluoride-biased, resin, a surface of the porous layer having a 60-degree specular gloss of 3% to 26%.
