Thermal stabilizer material, method of obtaining and uses thereof
The present disclosure relates to the use of eggshell particles as a polymer thermal stabilizer, preferably as a poly(vinyl chloride) (PVC) thermal stabilizer; also to a flexible material comprising a multi-layered PVC-based material, method of obtaining and uses thereof. An aspect of the present disclosure relates to a material comprising a poly(vinyl chloride), PVC, layer comprising eggshell particles, wherein the eggshell particle size is up to 200 m, an intermediate layer or a plurality of intermediate layers; a support layer selected from the following list: fabric, knitted fabric, nonwoven, foam, or mixtures thereof; wherein the layers are bounded. Preferably a material solution free of azodicarbonamide, for automotive InteriorsEco-friendlier, preferably sustainable artificial leather for automotive upholsteries.
Pre-stressed plate or shell structures
A pre-stressed structure and a method for forming a pre-stressed structure are provided. The pre-stressed structure comprises a panel including a first region pre-stressed into a condition of membrane tension, resulting in the panel having increased transverse stiffness. The pre-stressed structure may further comprise a second region pre-stressed into a condition of membrane compression. The panel may be a plate or a shell and may form part of an insulating glass unit, which in turn may form part of a curtainwall unit.
Hose, method for manufacturing hose, and hydraulic pump
Provided are a hose excelling in a lightweight property and in fatigue fracture resistance, a method for manufacturing the hose, and a hydraulic pump. The hose includes a tube, an interior of the tube being hollow, continuous carbon fibers and/or continuous glass fibers wound around an outer circumference of the tube, and a thermosetting resin present external to the tube. The thermosetting resin has an elastic modulus from 0.5 to 10 MPa, and the continuous carbon fibers and/or continuous glass fibers are impregnated with at least a part of the thermosetting resin. The elastic modulus of the thermosetting resin is a numeric value determined by: heating the thermosetting resin for 2 hours at a curing temperature of the thermosetting resin; then subjecting the thermosetting resin to thermoregulation for two weeks under a condition of a temperature of 23 C. and a relative humidity of 55%; and then performing a measurement in accordance with JIS K7161:2019.
ARTICLE WITH PRESSURE MANAGEMENT AND THERMAL INSULATION PROPERTIES
The present disclosure relates generally to the field of cushioning articles, more specifically to the field of articles having pressure management and thermal insulation properties. The present disclosure also relates to a method of manufacturing such articles and to their use for industrial applications for pressure and thermal management applications.
Window and display device including the same
A display device includes: a display panel; and a window on the display panel, wherein the window includes a glass substrate having a thickness of 20 micrometers (m) to 100 m, and the glass substrate contains, on a basis of an entirety of the glass substrate, more than 75 mol % and less than 85 mol % of SiO.sub.2, more than 10 mol % and less than 20 mol % of Na.sub.2O, and more than 0 mol % and less than 10 mol % of CaO, respectively.
