A display device includes: a display panel; and a window on the display panel, wherein the window includes a glass substrate having a thickness of 20 micrometers (?m) to 100 ?m, and the glass substrate contains, on a basis of an entirety of the glass substrate, more than 75 mol % and less than 85 mol % of SiO.sub.2, more than 10 mol % and less than 20 mol % of Na.sub.2O, and more than 0 mol % and less than 10 mol % of CaO, respectively.

Laminate

An object of the present invention is to provide a laminate of an olefin-type rubber, which is non-polar or has a small polarity and which is difficult to bond with a different material, and a rubber comprising Group 15 elements, which is a different kind of rubber. The laminate according to the present invention includes a structure including, in order, an olefin-type rubber layer (A); an adhesive resin layer (B) containing at least one selected from the group consisting of an ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, a silane-modified ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, an ethylene/acrylic acid copolymer and an ionomer thereof, and an ethylene/methacrylic acid copolymer and an ionomer thereof; and a layer (C) containing a rubber containing Group 15 elements.

Membranes and methods for producing them are disclosed. The membranes comprise a core layer comprising a composite of alternating thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) and barrier microlayers, and they comprise at least one cap layer that is bonded to the core layer or a structural layer. In some embodiments, at least the cap layer comprises a polydiene polyol-based TPU. The membrane may further comprise a rubber layer bonded to the cap layer.

Hose assembly with modified thermoplastic inner tube

A hose assembly, preferably a garden hose assembly, preferably having an inner tube in contact with and covered by an outer tube or jacket, wherein the jacket is not bonded, connected or attached to the inner tube between and couplers of the hose assembly, and wherein the inner tube includes a modified thermoplastic composition that exhibits desirable characteristics including fatigue resistance, abrasion resistance, and puncture resistance.

Method of producing a composite pipe and such a composite pipe

A composite pipe comprises a polyetheretherketone innermost pipe around which a reinforcing overwrap is arranged. A protective sheath surrounds the overwrap. Such a composite pipe may be made by selecting a polyetheretherketone pipe having an outer region having a crystallinity of less than 25%; overlaying the selected pipe with overwrap; and subjecting the combination to heat, thereby causing the crystallinity of the outer region of the polyetheretherketone pipe to increase. The method reduces the risk of pipe failure.

Composite epoxy material with embedded silicon carbide and alumina nanoparticles

A stacked composite material and a method of preparation, wherein the stacked composite materials comprises of glass fiber layers sandwiched between nanocomposite layers. The nanocomposite layers comprise a nanofiller dispersed in a cured epoxy matrix, wherein the nanofiller is at least one of silicon carbide nanoparticles or aluminum oxide nanoparticles. Adjacent and noncontiguous glass fiber layers are oriented in a unidirectional orientation or a quasi-isotropic orientation.

An anti-fatigue mat/shock pad has a mat body with a top surface, a bottom surface, a left side edge, a right side edge and a top and bottom edges. The top and bottom surface of the mat have raised regions thereon which are made up of longitudinally extending raised ribs arranged in parallel fashion with respect to one another and spaced apart a selected distance by longitudinal channels. The longitudinal ribs on the top surface are offset from the longitudinal ribs on the bottom surface in an alternating fashion so that they present a staggered array when viewed in cross section. This particular pattern of raised ribs on the top and bottom surfaces of the mat produces a non-linear deformation pattern under impact forces in use, such as would be caused by athletes running or jumping on an athletic field.

Flexible display device and upper film therefor

The disclosure relates to a flexible display device including: a display panel including a touch sensor, where the display panel is foldable with respect to a folding axis; a cover window disposed on a front surface of the display panel; and a front surface film disposed on a front surface of the cover window, where the front surface film includes a protection film, and a base film having a transverse direction, and the transverse direction is perpendicular to a direction of the folding axis.
